Vancouver Event Duo is a music group comprised of two talented, experienced musicians, Anna Kuchkova - cello and Kevin Arland - saxophone. Together, they provide, a variety of music services, for diverse types of events, social gatherings and parties including weddings, engagements, birthdays and other special occasions.

Experience

Anna is an active member of the West Coast Symphony Orchestra, cello teacher at Long & McQuade, chamber musician and cellist/ composer/ leader in classical crossover band Alchemy Chamber.

Anna played principal cello in New Westminster Symphony Orchestra and was a session cellist for various recording projects and live events in Vancouver BC, including Royal City Musical Theatre, Theatre Under the Stars musicals, and Canucks hockey game entertainment at Rogers Arena.

Kevin, who is a Capilano graduate, has played in horn sections most of his life, is a member of the South Van Big Band and various jazz groups in Vancouver. Kevin is one of the original members of Alchemy Chamber, has performed with Grammy winning Puerto Rican salsa projects and played on cruise ships all through Asia and Europe.
