Veronica Ward is a Calgary-based musician who specializes in providing the beautiful sounds of the harp for weddings and other special events. Her harp is a concert grand made by Lyon & Healy, engraved with gold. Veronica is a harpist with a passion for playing live classical music with her own distinct and modern touch. She is available as an instrumental soloist for wedding ceremonies, music breaks, reception music and much more!

Experience

Grade 8 honours by the Royal Conservatory of Music and was a harp teacher for beginner and intermediate students at the Ontario Conservatory of Music. 15 years professional experience.

My son married the love of his life on a hot summer afternoon in a park by the lake. Music was provided by Veronica and her harp. She set the tone with a musical interlude and my daughter-in-law, on the arm of her father, walked toward her future husband to the strains of Pachabel's Canon. Having Veronica and her talent as an integral part of the ceremony served to make the day perfect. In addition to her musical ability, Veronica was at all times professional and attentive. Thank you Veronica. We will always remember and treasure your contribution to this very special day.

Veronica's playing was absolutely magical. The perfect romantic touch. She had an amazing repertoire and gladly incorporated special requests. Family and friends all commented how beautiful the music was.

I was lucky enough to have Veronica play at my wedding. She arrived promptly, prepared and played beautifully for my guests. Not only does Veronicas talent speak for itself but she looks just as angelic as her music sounds. Highly recommend for any occasion.
