Barb Fenske is an Alberta-licensed marriage commissioner, who offers her services for Sylvan Lake and the surrounding area since July, 1997. She has had the privilege of joining more than 1,500 couples in matrimony. Barb's services always give importance to the uniqueness of a couple's relationship and provide special, personal attention to reflect their tastes and style. Along with the booklet provided by the Province of Alberta, Barb offers a package that can assist you in making your day everything you dreamed it would be.

Services offered

Barb offers her services at any venue of your choice, be it a park, hotel, or your home. You can write your own vows and exchange rings and bring children to be part of the ceremony. She provides her services for non-religious weddings and the type of ceremonies are:

How he works

Barb always begins by meeting with couples so that they feel comfortable choosing her as their officiant. Barb encourages couples to include in their ceremony the things that are important to them. At the ceremony’s conclusion, Barb will present to you a copy of the actual ceremony itinerary to add to your keepsakes. The venue is your choice, although Barb is happy to provide suggestions and recommendations.
