Cheryl was absolutely wonderful! Cheryl made our day easy! supplied a microphone for the ceremony, met with us multiple times before the wedding to ensure we had no questions/concerns and everything was in order, and provided us with everything we needed to apply for our marriage certificate!

Cheryl Cooper was the Comissioner that came with our A Bear and Bison Wedding package. Cheryl was quick to reply to by email and accepted our custom ceremony; however, she messed up my father “giving me away” and instead it ended up being a REALLY awkward moment at the beginning of the ceremony. I then had a hard time focusing on the fact that I was getting married because I missed that moment with my dad and fiancé. She also mixed up my and my husbands names. If you do choose to go with Cheryl make sure to have an in person meeting or telephone conversations to make sure she understands everything you want extremely clearly. I thought our email correspondence was clear and I felt confident with our ceremony, but apparently it was not clear. During COVID I felt comfortable with all email correspondence with all my vendors; however I highly regret not having a phone call with Cheryl to finalize the ceremony. This was in part my fault but it really ruined the ceremony how it turned out. My suggestion is to book with someone else or have a very clear conversation with Cheryl so she knows EXACTLY what you want.
My advice for Cheryl is to never only correspond through email, always have at least a phone conversation before hand to make sure everything is clear, as to avoid what happened to us.

Cheryl was a pleasure to work with! She was friendly and helpful, and a reassuring presence on the big day itself. One of the best things about her was that she allows for a lot of customization in your ceremony. If you’re interested in writing a lot of your ceremony or including a few readings and personalized details, Cheryl is a great choice!

My husband and I got married July 29, 2022. Cheryl officiated the wedding, and she did such a wonderful job. We got a lot of positive comments from our guest.
