About
Cape Breton Weddings - Justice of the Peace and Wedding Venue
Hi, my name is Anne, and I'm a Justice of the Peace serving Cape Breton Island. I've been doing this work since 2017 and have married dozens of lovely couples across Cape Breton. I've been to every imaginable location for weddings: windy clifftops overlooking the ocean, chic country clubs, yacht clubs, historic kirks, and family backyards. My couples are most important to me, and I will do all in my power to make your wedding ceremony memorable. Formerly operating as Sunrise Weddings, I am now Cape Breton Weddings with a shiny new website and, of course, the same excellent service.
NEWS! I'm throwing open my lovely rural gardens and grounds for a wedding venue! I'm two miles down a private road from the Cabot Trail in Middle River. I have a public washroom and showers available for guests, plus a large lawn area perfect for your marquee and seating. There's even a private cabin for the bride and groom! Cape Breton Weddings can provide the location and the J.P. for your wedding—you bring everything else. Now booking for 2025—price on application.
Cape Breton Weddings, based on the Cabot Trail, provides wedding officiating services across Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia.
