Are you looking for an experienced wedding officiant with 5-star Google reviews?

Someone who has worked with couples from all kinds of backgrounds and ages in many different settings?

I will help you make your wedding ceremony personal and special. That's my promise to both of you.

Together, we can plan a ceremony you will cherish forever. I am a licensed marriage officiant by the Province of Ontario and work across all of Ottawa and the entire Capitol Region, including Barrhaven, Stittsville, Orleans, Napean, Kanata and even as far away as Carleton Place.

Maybe you just want to complete the marriage paperwork right now? My fee for this basic service is $300 plus HST on weekdays, or $350 plus HST on weekends. It can be done right in my home office in Old Ottawa South.

My fee for a wedding ceremony is $400 plus HST for Monday through Thursday. The weekend costs are $450 plus HST, and the prime summer weekends are $600 plus HST.

Amazing officiant

I can’t say enough good things about Nick! He was super easy to work with, made us feel very comfortable and very friendly! My husband and I got married this august 2023 and wanted a short ceremony. He was so flexible and last min rolled with my last min changes to the vows. When I was looking for a officiant I wanted someone who wasn’t pushy and had this soft spoken voice and nick really hit all of our wants. He sent us some examples of vows, and took the time to have a conversation before the wedding to get to know my husband and I. Nick was located in Toronto but now has moved to Ottawa and he has continued to officiait so if anyone is looking for a amazing, easy going, professional officiant look no further!

Nick thank you for making our visions come true it was for sure less stressful having you there to guide us.

A warm & calming presence on what can be a stressful day

Nick officiated our wedding in August of 2022 and he was such a pleasure to work with. He gave us the confidence that everything would go smoothly on our day and really catered the experience to us as people and the tone we were trying to set for our wedding day. He answered emails very quickly and met with us over zoom calls before the ceremony. Once we were standing up there, he had such a calming presence it was easy to tune out the stress of the situation and focus on my partner. Thank you, Nick!

It was a very beautiful and intimate ceremony

Nick is very professional and open minded. We prefered more of a celtic/pagan cerwmony and it qas absolutely beautiful. His words were heartfelt and clear. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing!

Nick was a pleasure to work with. He was very accommodating when we had to postpone our ceremony a couple times due to various reasons. Our wedding was cancelled in May due to Covid so we had a small backyard ceremony which Nick officiated. He was so kind and friendly, it didn't feel like we met him for the first time. Also, he followed all social distancing protocols and ensured we had a safe but fun wedding. He was very communicative throughout the process and answered all my questions. Highly recommend Nick to anyone looking for an officiant! We couldn't have gotten married without him during these Covid times and I'd be forever grateful he was able to marry us. Thank you Nick!!

A warm welcome to starting our new life together

Having Dr. Nick be our officiant during the difficult time of COVID-19 was a warm welcome to starting our new life together. Dr. Nick was very professional and together we made the proper arrangements to handle the social distancing requirements outlined by the government for COVID-19. When he arrived, his warm character reassured us that this was a moment we would share for the rest of our lives. I would 100% recommend Dr. Nick for anyone requiring an officiant.

Courteous, Professional & Flexible

Nick was kind enough to come to our apartment to hold our wedding according to the provincial and federal rules of social distancing. Apart from that, he was very courteous and ensured that everyone present (people attending virtually included) were able to hear everything clearly and participate. He is organized and very flexible if you communicate clearly. I would highly recommend him for any wedding ceremony as he is very reliable!

Amazing officiant to work with!

Nick did a wonderful job officiating our wedding. Very professional and easy to talk to. He is extremely helpful when it comes to planning the logistics of your ceremony. Our ceremony was short but very sweet. It was so memorable especially the Celtic hand fasting ceremony. The meaning behind it is absolutely beautiful. Would highly recommend Nick for his amazing services!

Lovely ceremony, highly recommended

Nick was really thorough with the process from the beginning until the end with explaining everything to us. He went over and beyond to assist us with the music setup for our intimate ceremony. We loved all aspects of the ceremony and Nick's wonderful words of wisdom. Thank you very much for being a part of our incredible journey and starting the next chapter of our lives.

I recently earned my Doctorate in Philosophy at Trent University, when I was 63. But, don’t worry, I never have and don’t plan to ever sound like an absent-minded philosopher!

I am never in a hurry. I have no personal agenda or beliefs to promote. Your point of view is the only thing that matters.
