Wow! Evan created the most unique to us ceremony. He got to know us on a deeper level to create a ceremony so catered to us. Our guests and us absolutely loved it! There was something so calming about Evan’s presence and I never once worried about what he was going to say! Evan married my husband and I in May 2024. Evan provided a beautiful ceremony for us. He was very thoughtful in his preparation, in terms of personalizing the ceremony, to make it memorable and reflective of our love for each other. All of our guests thought the ceremony was so beautiful, and we are very grateful to have chosen Evan as our officiant. Beyond the ceremony itself, Evan was always responsive, helpful with his suggestions, and informed us on the administrative steps required to get married. Evan was great to work with and very easy to communicate with! He put together an amazing ceremony for us, we absolutely loved it. Even when Evan was unable to officiate the wedding himself he made sure to have a back up plan and had Rick officiate for us! Rick made sure we felt at ease and happy with our ceremony. Evan was a pleasure to work with from the first initial phone call, months leading up, rehearsal, day of and even days after our wedding!

I really can't find enough good words to say about Evan, but I'll start off with a little background on our experience. My wife and I met Evan over a 20 minute Zoom call for our first introduction. We didn’t really know what we wanted for a ceremony, other than that we wanted something not terribly long. On the call, Evan did a small bio / introduction on himself, and to be totally honest, I could have picked him as our officiant after 5 minutes of dialogue. He struck me as a guy you would want to be friends with haha.

I’m not lying when I say he was the only officiant we met with; I asked my wife what she thought when we finished the Zoom call and she felt the exact same way. Although the rest of our correspondence with Evan leading up to the wedding was through email, we felt strongly that we had made a good choice in selecting him. His confidence and personality after just one meeting with him made us feel like we were in good hands.

On the day of the wedding, Evan was great; he talked to the wedding party prior to the big moment, and he just has a way with words that really takes the stress out of the atmosphere. He made little jokes and quips that really lightened the mood and were in good taste. Even during the actual ceremony, which was conducted expertly, he made little quips and ribbings that only I (the groom) could hear (not even my soon to be wife 3 feet away could hear them) that took any stress out of the moment and really allowed me to feel more relaxed, and give my best performance.

For reference, I do a lot of public speaking for my day-to-day work, so I feel like it's easy for me to see and appreciate the subtleties that Evan brings that help you elevate your game when it matters so much to you personally to perform. Getting that comfort is not always easy, but with Evan it was a cinch. Evan, thank you for your professionalism, and attention to detail -you really came through for us.
