Get Hitched is a company based in North Bay, Ontario, which offers wedding officiant services in the Nippissing/Parry Sound area. Owner Erika Norrad is a licensed Humanist officiant who has been officiating weddings since 2019. She is able to tailor her services to the individual needs of her clients, crafting ceremonies that offer an authentic representation of each couple.
Services Offered
Get Hitched has three different ceremony packages available to accommodate a range of requirements and pricing preferences. Depending on your chosen package, you may avail of services such as multiple consultations, ceremony modifications, custom-ceremony creation, symbolic unity rituals, and more. This wedding officiant allows couples to write their own vows, but she is also happy to provide suggestions. In addition to wedding ceremonies, Erika is able to provide services for vow renewals.

Due to the mandatory quarantine this year, Erika set up a few check ins with us via Zoom (usually done in person) to ensure we stayed in touch and were confident in how we wanted her to conduct the ceremony. I had tons of questions for her and she was able to answer them all with ease. She even mentioned things I hadn't thought about - so thank you Erika!
When our day came (July 2020), Erika arrived early to ensure she knew where she should stand, which gave me great peace of mind. She was incredibly professional and officiated the ceremony beautifully.
Erika reached out post-ceremony and ensured we were aware of what was happening next in the process of getting married. She handled the paperwork and sent off what she needed to, so we did not have to do any of that.

A little about me
I started officiating in 2019, but my involvement in weddings started 20 years prior when I was an assistant to my mother, a wedding photographer. By the age of 16 I had been to more weddings than I ever imagined.
Through the years, my mum and step-father both became Humanist Officiants, which sparked my interest; I never considered the possibility of a non-denominational Officiant.
Fast-forward through college, university and the 9-5 grind, and my passion and desire to be involved in weddings was fired up, and I decide to continue in my families' footstep and become a Humanist Officiant.
Meet Your Wedding Officiant
Weddings are one of the happiest days that occur in someone’s life. I love helping create those happy moments that make each person feel special on such an important day; ensuring the ceremony expresses the love for one another, who you are individually, spiritually, and culturally. Being a part of the day, and hearing couples expressing their feelings of love and vision with a community of family and friends is such an uplifting experience. I would be honoured to celebrate those moment with you on your special day.
Officiating Areas
I live in beautiful North West London, Ontario and cover London, Middlesex, Elgin, Oxford, Perth Huron and Sarnia-Lambton counties. However, I am happy to travel anywhere in Ontario to perform your ceremony and solemnize your wedding.
