Judy Knight is the owner and a licensed Marriage Commissioner, with 35+ years of public speaking experience and is LGBT friendly and performs civil ceremonies within Winnipeg and the surrounding areas. I Now Pronounce You... is also an Official Marriage Licence Vendor. Judy believes everyone has the right to choose whomever they want to spend the rest of thier lives with, and the ceremony of their choice, regardless of its size, from small and intimate to large affairs with many guests in attendance. Judy feels privilieged to be part of your special day and excited to work with you to create a customized wedding ceremony for you as you move from the threshold of engagement to marriage. She is committed to providing exceptional customer service for all of her clients. Each couple is guaranteed a personalized, meaningful and unique experience. As much time, as is necessary, is spent with each couple in order to create their "perfect" wedding ceremony that will be memorable for the couple and their guests for years to come. Judy participates in Wedding Shows such as the Wonderful Wedding Show, Interlake Wedding Expo and the Nivervile Heritage Centre Showcase in order to meet engaged couples to share her services with them and to network with other vendors in the wedding industry and to develop a relationship with them as they work along side each other during a wedding ceremony.

Services offered

Judy's services include pre-wedding face-to-face meeting (s) with the couple with ongoing collaboration via email/phone to create a customized wedding ceremony; assist with writing their own vows (if requested); provide samples of poems, readings and other suggestions to incorporate into the wedding script; assurance that all required legalities are included in the wedding ceremony; selling the couple a Marriage Licence; running the rehearsal, officiating the wedding ceremony and submitting the Marriage Licence to the Department of Vital Statistics, within the required timeline, following the wedding ceremony.
