Joyful Life Celebrations, based in Almonte, Ontario, provides Humanist weddings tailored to suit you. These personalized, ethics-based wedding ceremonies are for everyone, emphasizing common values, human rights, mutual responsibility, and respect.
Jennifer’s ceremonies are secular, ethical, non-religious and non-denominational, and legally equivalent to a civil ceremony or City Hall wedding. However, each ceremony is co-created with the couple to reflect your values and wishes.
Jennifer’s practice is inclusive: it includes interfaith couples seeking to blend two faiths with one love, couples who have no church community to turn to, same-sex couples, couples of different cultural backgrounds, and couples for whom there is no God.
Jennifer is committed to working with you to create a beautiful, meaningful ceremony that best reflects you. While her weddings do not use religious language, she deeply respects your cultural and family traditions. Your wedding will strengthen your commitment and love for each other in the next stage of your lives together.
Whether it is a short legal ceremony, a private elopement, a family or community gathering, an informal event or a large traditional wedding, Jennifer will help design a simple, meaningful marriage service that reflects your wishes.

Meet the team
Hello!
Since 2016 I have been officiating wedding ceremonies, funeral and celebration of life services, child naming and other rites of passage ceremonies in the Eastern Ontario region.
My goal is to create non-religous ceremonies unique to my clients, to say exactly what you want to express and to help make your day as stress-free as possible.
I provide flexibility and understanding of your needs and desires at the location of your choosing, whether it is an intimate gathering at a cottage or family home, a large event at a commercial location or a secluded ceremony at a park.
I look forward to making a connection with you to serve your wedding ceremony needs in Eastern Ontario.
