Julia Sent on 02/12/2024Such a memorable, heartfelt and personal ceremony
If you're getting married in Calgary or the surrounding area, you NEED to hire Cole as your officiant! He did such an amazing job at our wedding at the Banff Springs. Cole is so charismatic and energetic, it never felt boring. The ceremony was personalized to us (the couple) without feeling TOO close & personal (no TMI content LOL).
During the planning process, Cole sends you a document of questions to fill
out - it definitely took some time to finish but so worth it! We didn't ask for a reading in the document and Cole surprised us with one that really moved both my husband and I (our eyes got watery at the altar!). He added in some funny moments and jokes which were much appreciated to help with the developing tears.
After the ceremony, all our guests kept telling us how amazing Cole was as our officiant and that they want him to officiate their weddings! We are just so happy to have picked Cole for our special day! :) -

We cannot thank Cole enough for making our wedding day so memorable! He made the entire process seamless and fun and had a special way of calming our nerves. He also accommodated us last minute (a 2 week period) which was very much appreciated. Cole did a fantastic job officiating our elopement ceremony. It was so personalized and heartfelt and unique to us. Cole takes the time to get to know his couples and adds many personal touches. Cole really made our ceremony more than we could have ever imagined, and we are so incredibly happy with his services as an officiant. I truly cannot recommend him enough. Cole, thank you for being such a big part of our day, you are gifted at what you do and we so appreciate you for it! -

When we got engaged nearly two years before our wedding, one of the first recommendations we received was to have Married By Cole as our officiant – and I’m so glad we did! From start to finish, Cole was absolutely incredible. He took the time to guide us through the entire marriage process and explained what to expect on the wedding day, which put us at ease.
Our ceremony ended up being a standout moment, not just for us but for all our guests. Through our calls and the online rehearsal, Cole truly understood our vision and tailored the ceremony to reflect our personalities. He even included a special moment including asking my father-in-law to sing "Dancing Queen" by ABBA and added a quote from The Office, making it uniquely ours.
The flow of the ceremony was seamless, with smooth transitions that made everything feel perfect. Cole was easy to follow, and his warmth and charisma made our day feel even more special.
If you're in Alberta and recently engaged, don’t hesitate – having Cole as our officiant was one of the BEST decisions we made! -

I didn't know what to expect from the ceremony as it was an elopement so thought it would be fairly basic, but Cole made it truly amazing. He made everything so fun, upbeat, personalised - I honestly couldn't have asked for more. We loved everything Cole put together, and really appreciated his humour and energy! Thank you Cole! -

Cole, you were incredible! Not only day of, but months leading up to. You provided such a personalized, and enjoyable experience. Jackson and I appreciated how much time you took for us, with the initial consultation, to getting to know us as a couple, and to meeting again with us a week before the wedding to go over everything. We don't know what we would have done without you!
I was freaking out about the ceremony, certain I would forget everything you had told us leading up, or worried I would mess up - and that didn't happen because of you. As soon as you started speaking with Jackson and I, it felt as though a life long friend was sharing our memories and our relationship with family and friends. Through personalized stories and perfect jokes to add light-heartedness to our ceremony, everything you did was perfect. Our guests continued to come up to us throughout the night, ecstatic at how incredible the ceremony was and so impressed with the job you did! We really lucked out finding you, and I'm so happy for the couples that have gotten to have you as their officiant, and the couples that will get you as their officiant, because it's an unforgettable experience, and one that will be talked about for the rest of their lives - because that's what Jackson and I have been doing since our wedding. You are something else, and anyone who gets to know you as a person and have you as their officiant is so freaking lucky! A million, billion, trillion thank yous, Cole!Married By Cole's reply:

Cole officiated our wedding in June, and we can’t say enough good things about him! He had us and our guests feeling at ease instantly, and as two people who don’t like attention on us, this made all the difference for my husband and I.
We were so happy with the ceremony and how personalized he was able to make it! A ceremony can be quick and straightforward, but we wanted something that played on our years together as a couple and who we are as individuals, and Cole was able to deliver even more than we expected. He managed to weave together all the legalities, sentimental pieces, and funny anecdotes, so beautifully – it’s really amazing how well he can represent two people that he only knows via an online questionnaire and a few phone calls. Not only were we happy with it, but many of our family and friends commented on how authentic and personal it felt.
Cole was organized, punctual and made everything easy for us, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. He even reviewed our personal vows for us to make sure they somewhat matched in length/tone, which was helpful! If you’re looking for an officiant and want a personalized ceremony, would absolutely recommend Cole!

Best Officiant Ever!
We might be a bit biased because it was our wedding ceremony but we think it might’ve been the best ceremony we’ve ever witnessed and all of our guests agreed! Cole made our ceremony so personal, you would’ve guessed he’d known us for years! It was so inclusive, engaging and fun. We could not have asked for a better officiant in Cole. We’re so very grateful to have been able to hire him for our special day. Thanks so much, Cole! -
