Fall wedding 2024
Rachel was our celebrant for our small wedding this fall. Firstly, she is a joy to work with - a lovely and kind person all around and we really enjoyed all our of our meetings and conversations with her. Rachel crafted a very special ceremony that was perfect in every way - personal, intimate, light hearted and truly poetic. In getting to know Rachel we felt as if she was part of the family on our wedding day. All of our family and friends had positive interactions with Rachel and had nothing but great things to say about the ceremony and Rachel as a person. Thanks again Rachel!

Perfect day!
Highly recommend Rachel for any wedding. We live over 4 hours away and spent time researching different vendors for our Tobermory elopement. It can be tough to connect with someone over the phone but Rachel was so warm and personable that we felt an instant connection despite not meeting face-to-face. We spent time getting to know each other and she really learned about us and our love journey. She wrote a beautiful and personal ceremony that truly embodied our story. When we met Rachel in person, it was like meeting a friend. She was so professional, approachable and made the day complete. Rachel worked with us to do our own ceremony our way. We loved it! She even suggested a tradition from our background, were you cut a piece of a log with a saw and the couple does it together to signify our past and future coming together.
We even had wedding security and they had nerf guns and when Rachel ask if anyone objected (which isn’t normally in a ceremony anymore) our wedding security our niece and. Nephew stood behind us and acted like they would hit someone with a nerf bullet if they objected. It was amazing. Thank you Rachel. We felt so connected to Rachel from our very first phone call, where we found so many things in common and felt like total kindred spirits.
She wrote the most beautiful ceremony we could ever imagine! It was so personal and intimate, and she worked in ideas we had while also contributing many special ideas of her own. The church where we got married has never had the doors locked in over 100 years, and she wrote such a meaningful passage relating that to our life and marriage and keeping our hearts open.
We had guests, many in tears, remarking how they didn’t realize a ceremony could be so moving without being religious. It was emotional and funny and joyful and it just felt like us. There was a feeling in the room that Rachel cultivated that we will never forget, love was everywhere. We wouldn’t change a thing and would hire Rachel again and again. Shannon & Korey’s Tobermory Wedding
We got married on a private boat with Tobermory Wave Adventures. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Rachel answered everything in a timely manner, had answers to all of our questions, helped us feel at ease with the flow of everything and provided a personal touch to our day. She faced huge waves, got absolutely drenched and still had a smile while she officiated our wedding. I would work with her again and again (if “I do” wasn’t a one time thing). Better than we ever imagined
My husband and I held an intimate elopement this past Saturday with a few of our closet friends and family, Rachel was our officiant. She took the time to ask questions, get to know us as individuals and as a couple. Our wedding wouldn't have been as perfect or magical as it was without her. She took the time to make our ceremony very personalized to us, through her own words and through poems she read that suited who we are as people, how our life is together and the couple we continue to be. Words could not describe how wonderful she is nor how highly we recommend her to any engaged couple looking for the perfect officiant for their upcoming ceremony.
