Perfect Officiant Beginning to End
When searching for vendors for our Wedding, an Officiant was actually the most difficult to book by far. Not knowing what we'd want or need in an Officiant was part of issue, but even after contacting 3 different Officiants, all were already booked over a year from our wedding date (even though it was considered “off-season"). We then came across Ruth, and from our first interaction she was abosolutely lovely (and available for our day!). Reflecting after our wedding day we simply cannot have imagined our wedding without Ruth. We met multiple times to go over the ceremony and what we wanted the day to look like, and all of our meetings were primarily suggested and driven by Ruth. She came with a thorough list of questions to each meeting, taking diligent notes to ensure that what she provided would be tailored to our exact needs (even though we weren’t quite sure what we wanted at times!). This was clearly not her first wedding and she continuously had ideas and questions for us that we would not have considered otherwise! Without being asked or prompted she took early ownership and care of everything we could have wanted from safe handling of the marriage liscence, to telling us exactly where to stand and what to say and even ensuring us she would jump out of the way for our first kiss picture because, in her own words, “You don’t want me there!”
Ruth also attended our rehearsal dinner and walked us all through the ceremony to help us feel prepared and at ease the day before. We had multiple wedding guests give compliments on Ruth from her soothing voice, to the beautiful personal ceremony, and the way she guided and led the entire service. Ruth would be an asset to any couple looking for an the perfect officiant. You will not be disappointed with your choice!Ruth McGregor Celebrations's reply:

Ruth was so great to work with and we are so happy that she officiated our wedding. She is extremely responsive, thorough and welcoming. She really listened us when we discussed what we wanted in our ceremony and made it so personalized to us. Ruth guided us through the whole process from initial planning, rehearsal, and the paperwork process afterwards. Ruth is a lovely person who was always professional yet fun to work with, and we would highly recommend her as a wedding officiant to anyone! -

Best. Officiant. EVER!
Ruth was an absolutely amazing officiant for me and my husband! She made the process so easy on us and helped guide us through not only the ceremony, but the legal bits and pieces along the way. Our ceremony was beautiful and absolutely perfect thanks to her! She curated our ceremony to be exactly what we wanted down to the timing, helping us figure out what to say, and even the fun little quirks we wanted to add in. I would recommend Ruth to absolutely anyone getting married, she’s the best! -

I cannot say enough good things about Ruth! She is warm and caring, and worked with us to create a wedding ceremony that felt very 'us.' She was patient with the (many) changes that we made so that things were just right, and I could tell she genuinely wanted the ceremony to reflect our journey as a couple. Ruth was happy to have my husband's brother help with parts of the ceremony that we wanted to be in French, and added a land acknowledgement into our ceremony as well. We couldn't have dreamed up a better officiant if we'd tried!Ruth McGregor Celebrations's reply:

We had Ruth officiant our ceremony and she was absolutely wonderful throughout the entire process. Our ceremony was exactly what we hoped for and Ruth made the process feel a lot less stressful and provided guidance for us when it came to writing vows and getting our marriage license. Amazing officiant
My partner and I married last month and had Ruth as our officiant. She was excellent. We were looking for someone non-religious and in support of LBTQ+ weddings. Ruth was very thorough, responsive, welcoming and helpful overall in creating the perfect day for us. I would highly recommend her. -
