Shelley is the most sincere officiant we've ever met. She walked us through the entire ceremony process, before and after. She talked to us in depth about our relationship and how we envisioned the ceremony, and got details from our friends and family to write a beautiful and personal ceremony script. She even helped us individually with putting the ideas we had about what we wanted to promise into eloquent vows (Shelley help me write this review!)
Unfortunately she wasn't able to make it to the ceremony last minute due to an emergency, but even then she arranged for a backup officiant without needing any involvement from us and minimized the stress from such a last minute disruption.
She really put us at ease throughout the whole process, and we would recommend her for anyone else getting married.Shelley Kabelin Wedding Officiant's reply:

Shelley is an AMAZING officiant and I highly recommend her from start to finish. If you are looking for someone who is genuine, calm, thoughtful with the details, helps you be present in the moment, and truly makes your ceremony feel individualized and specially designed for you, then this is your person. She is part of a group of officiants and reached out to us after one of the individuals we had contacted was not available. We are incredibly happy she found us. She makes sure the service is what you are looking for and offers lots of guidance to help tailor it to what you want, even when you start off not knowing what you want. She went above and beyond to basically assist with coordinating our guests for the ceremony for us on the day of (we did not have a wedding coordinator) and allowed it to start on time. She had kleenex ready, mints in hand, and spoke eloquently telling the story of us. She gave encouragement during moments of nervousness and direction in moments of uncertainty throughout the ceremony to make it all work beautifully.
She will mail the papers for you after with a tracking number, provides you details/costs for the paperwork component with the province, provides a Zoom rehearsal, prompt responses, and significant support with the important reminder to enjoy the process in spite of the stress before it's all over.
Really. She is amazing and I am confident that she will have hundreds of reviews all with 5 stars in no time, so book her if/while you can.Shelley Kabelin Wedding Officiant's reply:

Shelley was amazing. She made sure our ceremony was truly about us and worked hard to get to know us. She was warm, funny and spent a lot of time making sure everything was just right and was tailored just for us. . We also appreciated her help with the logistical details of the ceremony. Shelley was wonderful from start to finish. Her professionalism, fun spirit and energy was exactly what we wanted in an officiant. She was very communicative, flexible and engaged throughout the planning process from our love story questionnaire, vows, marriage license, to the ceremony processional and afterwards. She made the ceremony run so smoothly and made us feel comfortable and confident. She even went above and beyond for us by helping our coordinator with her responsibilities.
