She works closely with her couples to make sure she is only saying words that are meaningful to them! She specializes in Adventure and Heli Elopements, and rituals like the Handfasting + Ringwarming. Rev. Sue Cairnie is not only well-versed in performing ceremonies, but she is fun and relaxed! This is why it is an honour for her to provide services for every religious affiliation imaginable. She serves Kelowna, Lake Country, Summerland, Penticton, Kootenays, Chase, Salmon Arm, Vernon and Kamloops. LGBTQ+ friendly.

Unique and Heartfelt
Sue is an absolute sweetheart. She helped to create the most beautiful ceremony for our wedding. We had so many compliments from guests saying how unique the ceremony was and how it truly encapsulated our relationship. Neither of us wanted to have a long, serious or sappy ceremony, as that’s just not us. Sue thoughtfully read our ceremony to embrace all the emotions that were felt. She knew exactly when to pause to allow for a few happy tears and to soak it all in or when to add some humour and laughter. The ceremony couldn’t have been more perfect.
We highly recommend Sue! She is an amazing and loving person. There’s no doubt that she loves celebrating love. Thank you for the bottom of our hearts for being apart of our wedding day.

Amazing Celebrant!!
Sue was an amazing officiant!! She spent the time to get to know us and our story. She works with you to make the perfect personalized ceremony and is there to support you with your vows if needed.

Professional but Fun!

Fabulous officiant who went above and beyond!!!
Sue is fabulous!
We are so happy we found her for our elopement. Covid-19 may have halted our original wedding plans but we decided you can't stop love and we weren't waiting any longer!!
In steps Sue!! We found her on wedding wire and she was so responsive. From the first phone call we knew she'd be perfect to officiate our wedding. She also recommended florists and a great photographer (Carousel Studios). She did her homework and wrote a ceremony that was designed for us filled with Disney quotes!! Considering it was just us - she made us feel at ease and had an amazing gift of making it feel like the rest of the world melt away by adding humour and grace to the ceremony (even dancing with us at the end!!).
I highly recommend her and when we look back at our special day we'll remember how lucky we were to have her be a part of it!

A Perfect Fit!
Sue was the perfect addition to our little farm wedding! Randy and I wanted a small ceremony with our parents and siblings on the farm I grew up on in Enderby. That is exactly what we got! :) Our script was personal and exactly us! Sue provides you with wonderful questions that dive into why you are so in love and what this commitment means to you and your partner! In the end, after answering all questions, the script was everything we wanted to say to each other in such a natural, fun and beautiful way. Sue was so helpful in sharing our love story, and making the ceremony about us and our love. :) Thank you Sue!
