Joan Tkaczyk is a marriage commissioner specially designated by the Province of Alberta who brings nine years of experience to couples providing advice on the wording and overall focus of your ceremony. Alberta Government guidelines of a Civil Marriage Ceremony are followed while also including your personality and style.

Joan of Thanx on Time offers a number of services for couples to choose from. Joan will work with you to create a beautiful, heartfelt, original service that is rich, personal and reflects your beliefs and wishes. In addition to marriage ceremonies, she is a certified Celebrant trained to gently help you through facing the loss of a loved one.

Absolutely Amazing Officiant

I was so happy hiring Joan. She was soo Flexible, so helpful and patient with me before our wedding. She walked me through the whole process and helped with the vows also. She made me, my husband and guests feel comfortable, she was a joy to have around as our wedding commissioner. In times as stressful as weddings can be, she certainly made it go smoothly on the big day. 110% recommended. Thak you Joan and i am soo sorry for this awful late review i am giving right now. An Amazing Experience

Joan was absolutely amazing person. Kind, gentle, and understanding while also being efficient, well organized, and open to our short timeline.

She was very quick to respond to any and all questions we had and planned out all aspects of our ceremony in an easy to understand and concise manner.

It was clear to us from the beginning that Joan cares deeply about the people she marries and is truly passionate about her work.

Lovely ceremony

Joan is such a lovely person she was always available to answer any questions we had and listened to what we wanted. Our ceremony was short and lovely, Joan talked cleared and loud. I recommande her to anyone getting married.

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding commissioner! From the moment we met, Joan made the whole process effortless and enjoyable. Her flexibility in accommodating our needs and wishes was truly impressive. She was incredibly friendly and sweet, always ready with a warm smile and a supportive attitude. Best experience

Joan was wonderful to meet with, plan with, and have as a part in choreographing the happiest day for us! She was quick to respond and was wonderful in helping out with any questions or concerns. Very flexible with our unknown rehearsal schedule until weeks before. Joan was also a welcomed calming influence to get us through the ceremony (a few words at a time).

Sweet and wonderful!

If you want someone who cares about what you want and wants everything perfect Joan is who you want to Officiate. All of the ideas she had for our vow renewal were amazing we even added an item the morning of and it was no problem. She is an amazing presence. All of our family loved her and we felt so greatful for that. Joan made us a great booklet of our vows as a keepsake as well as a certificate for us and our boys to sign. It was very special.
