Services Offered

The Ceremony Maven offers consultations to meet prospective clients and discuss the collaboration process. From there, Rev. Retta delves in deeper and strives to get to know the happy couple and the details of their wedding. On the day itself, this officiant arrives early to liaise with other vendors and ensure that everything is ready for the ceremony. Rehearsals are included. Rev. Retta is happy to perform elopements, vow renewals, traditional weddings, interfaith ceremonies, and spiritual ceremonies.

The most wonderful officiant

Retta was absolutely incredible. From the first moment we spoke, my now husband and I connected with her immediately. She is warm, kind, and communicative. She was with us every step of the way, taking the time to get to know us and our story, which really translated into the beautiful ceremony she delivered for us. It felt so personal and reflective of our journey together to the altar and beyond. We are so appreciative for her time, effort and attention to detail. She was amazing at helping guide and direct our rehearsal as well as keeping us calm and excited on the big day, and she answered any questions we had about the more logistical aspects to getting married. We would highly recommend her to anyone! Thank you so much Retta!

Retta is awesome!


Retta was an amazing officiant. She truly captured our love story and we received so many positive comments on our ceremony. The ceremony was my favourite part of the day. Retta also attended our rehearsal which was very helpful! She is very professional and would definitely recommend!

Perfect and Unique Ceremony

Retta is absolutely amazing! We chose the Love Story option for our Ceremony, and had the most beautiful and unique ceremony because of it. We couldn't stop smiling and laughing, and everything turned out perfectly. Retta was lovely to work with, allowed us to review the ceremony script beforehand (except for the love story portion so it would be a nice surprise on our wedding day) and rearrange things to our liking. We also received a bunch of compliments on the ceremony, and that it truly captured the essence of our love for one another. I highly recommend Retta for any wedding!

A ceremony to remember!

Retta is amazing at what she does! We had a flawless experience working with her to create a beautiful ceremony! Her process of creating our ‘love story’ was fun, unique and perfect! We appreciated her quick correspondence, preparing us on what to expect and even checking in on us the day of our wedding. We got countless compliments! Absolutely wonderful job

Everyone LOVED our ceremony and how Retta told our love story. She asked for input from our close friends and family which made it so very special to us. She was incredible, and met with us to go over all the details. It was perfect!

The most beautiful and eloquently written ceremony

Retta is absolutely amazing from start to ceremony! We loved working with her and couldn’t have asked for a more eloquently written ceremony. Retta agreed to officiate for us, without any religious aspects written into the ceremony. Majority of our guests have made a point to mention how beautifully written our ceremony was and how refreshing it was through and through. We can’t take credit - it is ALL Retta!!
I wish I could give more than 5 stars, she is AMAZING!
I didn’t even know until we received pictures that Retta managed to quickly step out of frame for our first kiss. She knows all the cues, and was so helpful in walking us through what we needed prior to our big day, at rehearsal and day of.
We are forever grateful to have had the privilege of Retta officiate for us!

Amazing Experience ❤️

Retta is absolutely wonderful! She was so easy to work with and we loved how She really cared that she was able to get mine and my husband’s love story correct! That meant alot to us and we really enjoyed the whole process that went into planning the ceremony with her.
She was able to pull together both of our stories so well! She did an amazing job the way she was able to capture it and then hearing how it all came together was just Priceless to not only us, but our families too!
Our guests even commented (multiple times) on how Romantic the ceremony was from beginning to end! Retta played a big part in that and with her help, we ended up having the ceremony of our dreams!!
We definitely would recommend Retta to any couple looking for an officiant.
From day one she was in constant contact with me.
Being an officiant she’s able to be surrounded by love and It seems to shine thru in how much she really loves what she does and how much she cares about each and every one of her couples too.

Professional, thoughtful, amazing !

Retta was an absolute dream to work with. She spent so much time making sure our vision came to life and was always there to answer any questions we had. She made recommendations that I really appreciated and her experience was so evident.
Our ceremony was everything we wanted it to be. There were moments that made us laugh, made us reminisce, and made us just filled with joy.
