  Married the way we wanted

  Matty was such a pleasure to work with. His calm personality was such a rich and soothing feature to our ceremony. I really feel like he listened to us when we discussed how we wanted the ceremony to go. We met with many other officiants who we just didn't feel were the right fit but as soon as we finished our zoom call with Matty, my now husband and I turned to eachother and said "that's him, that's the one". We just got married on Saturday and everything went perfectly. We had that short but sweet ceremony we wanted and even though we hadn't known Matty long, it felt like an old friend was presiding over our ceremony. I highly recommend The Good Reverend Matty to all the soon to be married couples out there. You won't be disappointed. Thank you so much Matty!

  Spectacular and memorable!

  Reverend Matty is the best! He truly helped us create the ceremony that we had always hoped for. It was so elegant, authentic and touching. It truly represented us and both of our faiths as well as it highlighted our love for one another, all of our guests were touched, but most of all we absolutely loved it! Thank-you again Reverend Matty for being a part of our special day that we will remember forever! ❤️💫

  Rev. Matty Was Amazing!

  We had to postpone our wedding and change our date more than a few times throughout the pandemic, and Rev. Matty was so flexible and responsive - it really made a stressful situation so much easier. All of our guests remarked at how lovely our ceremony was, and Rev. Matty just had this gentle, soft nature about him that really put our wedding jitters at ease. We were so glad we chose him to marry us.

  Thank You Rev. Matty!

  It was such a pleasure having Rev. Matty as the officiant to both our weddings. My husband and I had to ceremonies: our mini ceremony with just our parents due to the pandemic, and our big ceremony with all our friends and family up north. Rev. Matty travelled great distances for both ceremonies to marry us, and we are so grateful that he did. In our meetings, Rev. Matty took in the details about our vision for our wedding, and the various traditional elements we wanted to include. He factored these details into the wedding script/template we would follow, and it captured everything we wanted in our ceremonies perfectly. Of course, with both ceremonies being outdoor, there were a few natural interruptions that could not be avoided. Rev. Matty took those and rolled with it so effortlessly. It was such a pleasure having Rev. Matty marry us. Thank you, Rev. Matty!

  The Good Reverend Matty is Amazing

  Reverend Matty was organized and adventurous, a tough combo to find. He surprised us with his patience (we were late !) and with his willingness to meet us where we wanted to marry. (At the top of a cliff on the edge of Lake Huron in January !) We will always remember his gentle way and his excellent choice of words for our adventure ceremony. Thank you so much to The Good Reverend Matty for blessing and for officiating our union in the eyes of God. You were perfect !!

  Reverend Matty was wonderful, super responsive, accommodating and kind. He did a lovely job of supporting us on our special day. He really helped bring things together for us, and his reassuring glances through all of the intense emotions were so steadying, thank you.

  The One For The Job!

  We met with Matty virtually over zoom, and instantly knew that he was the man to marry us. He is so personable and knowledgeable about what he does. Super professional, and has an attention to detail! We can’t wait for Matty to marry us next year!

  The best and trendiest officiant ever!

  Matty is absolutely wonderful. For personal reasons, we needed papers signed one day and ceremony another day and Matty was super flexible and accommodating which made both those days stress-free and relaxed (which are often ironic words to use for a wedding). For all you nervous grooms, he does a great job calming those pre-ceremony jitters before your bride walks down the aisle, my husband was super grateful for that. He's also super trendy so he'll look great in your photos :)

  Matty is absolutely wonderful.   Amazing day!

  We had some last minute changes to our wedding and Matty was there to save the day! We had our first meeting over zoom and instantly clicked! He wrote a very lovely ceremony for my husband and I and was always available via email for any questions we had. Even after our wedding day, he was always quick to reply with answering my questions. Highly recommend him!
