Services Offered
Couples come to Tracy when they are in need of a relaxed and personable professional who can do justice to their distinctive and customized milestone event. Liaising closely with to-be-weds who book her services, she tailors each celebration so that it speaks to the couple of honour, and any guests in attendance. To achieve this, she familiarizes herself with couples in the build-up and does her utmost to understand who they are and what they like. As a published writer, she can create memorable, humorous, and lighthearted declarations of love for future spouses. Alternately, couples are welcome to compose and recite their own vows if they wish. Tracy is happy to help clients incorporate special traditions into their service or start new ones like sand-blending or honey-tasting ceremonies. Typically, these once-in-a-lifetime gatherings last under 30 minutes, which is ample time for heartfelt and significant words. The perfect ceremony!
Almost perfect.
However, there were two details that made our ceremony a bit less smooth than we may have hoped. One, she called out our parents by name during the ceremony which wasn't written in to the version of the ceremony we approved; my father was referred to by his legal first name as reflected on our marriage license, though he went by his middle name and was only ever known by his middle name, which caused some confusion for guests and was jarring for us.
Secondly, and I feel terribly complaining about such a lovely gesture - Tracy very kindly brought a pen for us to use for our signing. However, the pen has my legal first name printed on it, despite my abundant insistence that I be referred to only by my common name, and we had also invested a fair bit of money (relative to a pen) into purchasing a very special pen of our own to use for this part of the ceremony. We felt very put on the spot, and didn't end up using our own special engraved pen As a couple who does very poorly with surprises, we would have appreciated a heads up, or for it to be noticed that we had already handled this detail and given the latitude to proceed through that portion of our ceremony in the way we had envisioned and anticipated.

She’s very thorough and sends a draft to her script. She was totally open to new ideas and gave us many we didn’t think of. Her hand blessing was very special.
She mentioned she had been in theatre for years, and it definitely came in handy when our mic wasn’t working. She projected for everyone to hear over the wind and waves! She read the words I had written for our ceremony as well as our own beautifully! Nick cried the entire time.
It was a beautiful ceremony and we were so thankful to have Tracy a part of it.
