Michelle went out of her way to make our day the most special, but it did not just start on the day of our wedding, it started when we met her over a zoom call where she asked us the most in-depth, personal questions in order to specialize and customize our ceremony to be the ceremony of our dreams. Michelle made sure to include every special moment and cherished event that make us who we are as a couple. Our guests are still talking about how tearful and heartfelt our ceremony was! We will remember this for a lifetime, thank you Michelle!

When we first met Michelle she took the time to get to know us and offered lots of different ideas to ensure our ceremony was exactly what we wanted (enhancements, reading examples, vow/ring exchange ideas, etc). The ceremony she put together was a true reflection of our love story and all of our guests commented on how beautiful it was. We could not have asked for anything better!

Michelle was the officiant for my wedding on June 24, 2023. The ceremony was beautiful, heartfelt and personal. We loved that Michelle kept a lot of the ceremony content a surprise to us, as that made it so much more special. So many of our guests came up to us that evening and told us it was the best wedding ceremony they had ever witnessed! From beginning to end, Michelle was so easy to work with, fun and flexible. She stuck with us through two postponements, one due to Covid-19 in 2021 and one due to the arrival of our son in 2022. Michelle was flexible, and even found a way to incorporate our little 10 month old son in our ceremony. We are SO glad we had Michelle officiate our big day, and would recommend her 1000%.

When we began planning and contacting vendors, I did not know how much of an effect our choice of the officiant would have on our wedding. Michelle delivered a truly personal and heartfelt ceremony. Getting to know each other on our initial call was so fun and easy. She was also very helpful and took the time to answer any questions we had throughout the process. We received so many compliments on the ceremony, we would happily recommend her!

Michelle Scrimgeour-Brown did a fantastic job at our wedding. Her words and the way the ceremony was conducted was simple, intimate, sincere, yet cute and lighthearted at the appropriate moments. There was a hiccup when it came to rescheduling the rehearsal but she handled it professionally and was able to pull through for us. The one major feedback we received from guests and extended family after the wedding was that they left feeling like they knew us as a couple on a much closure level than ever before. I believe a big reason for that is because of how Michelle was able to arrange our Q&A answers and present "our story" to everyone in a way that was relatable and down to earth.

We planned a small wedding with some quirky elements and needed an officiant that could "fit" us. Well, we found that in Rev. Michelle. From the first Zoom meeting we knew she was right for us. Michelle guided us through the process and options available to us for how the ceremony could unfold. She provided a variety of readings and vow options for us to choose from or build off of. Michelle's professionalism coupled with her great sense of humour gave us exactly what we wanted: a ceremony with traditional elements coupled with some fun and the unexpected. Our guests commented on how they actually listened to the ceremony and truly enjoyed it. And they loved the story of us that Michelle told. After the wedding, Michelle sent us the ceremony script as a keepsake. We couldn't recommend Rev. Michelle more highly.

Michelle is a phenomenal human being, and absolute gem that has become near and dear to us. She has worked with us through so many obstacles, wedding-related and otherwise, and when it came time for our ceremony it was everything we could have wished for and more. Michelle is absolutely amazing. She has such a calming energy and was a pleasure to work with. When we met her, we talked to her together as a couple, and then we both answered questions separately. It was such a personal and unique ceremony that she put together for us. So many of our guests told us it was the best ceremony they’ve ever been to and they really got to know us better as a couple. From start to finish, my dealings with Michelle were absolutely incredible. She took the time to get to know us which during COVID is incredibly difficult and especially with a video call, it can be impersonal, but she took as much as much time as was needed and when we ended our call I knew she was the one to get us married. She simply just got us and what we were going for with our intimate casual ceremony. She maintained communication leading up to the ceremony, assisted us with the selection of our vows and offered advice and needed support. She was punctual on our day, even when several of our guests were not and we had to wait for them to arrive to start the ceremony. The ceremony was everything we could have asked for. Heartfelt, profound, romantic and absolutely tear jerking. My dad who never cries said he couldn’t hold back listening to her speak. I especially appreciated her awareness of the ceremony as both my
Groom and I were entranced with each other. She was able to discreetly center us with our arbour for our photographer and provided clear directive for moving over to the signing of our documents and the next steps. Everyone raved about her and still speaks about her when they talk about our wedding. Everything was seamless. I highly recommend Michelle!!! There is a reason she gets such amazing reviews. One of the best officiants by far!
