The most cherished, special, ceremony

Michelle went out of her way to make our day the most special, but it did not just start on the day of our wedding, it started when we met her over a zoom call where she asked us the most in-depth, personal questions in order to specialize and customize our ceremony to be the ceremony of our dreams. Michelle made sure to include every special moment and cherished event that make us who we are as a couple. Our guests are still talking about how tearful and heartfelt our ceremony was! We will remember this for a lifetime, thank you Michelle!

Amazing experience- wish we could do it all over again!

All we can say about Reverend Michelle Scrimgeour-Brown of is: Wow!!! She was completely amazing and made our special day even more memorable.

My husband and I knew at our first introduction to her that she would be the best person to tell our story and marry us. It was a magical experience and we felt like she truly cared every step of the way. She was extremely responsive, professional, thoughtful, accommodating and captured us perfectly. We were so happy with how the ceremony went and received many compliments from our guests!! We cannot recommend her enough!

A magical tailor-made wedding ceremony

If you are searching for the perfect officiant for your wedding, look no further. Michelle is absolutely incredible. Well-spoken and amiable, she is able to construct a custom ceremony with such great attention to detail, you can tell she truly cares. She told the story of our love beautifully and made our wedding unforgettable. She was there to guide us every step of the way as well, making sure we understood every aspect of the legalities and answering any questions we had promptly. We could not recommend her or thank her enough.

The perfect personal ceremony!

When we first met Michelle she took the time to get to know us and offered lots of different ideas to ensure our ceremony was exactly what we wanted (enhancements, reading examples, vow/ring exchange ideas, etc). The ceremony she put together was a true reflection of our love story and all of our guests commented on how beautiful it was. We could not have asked for anything better!

The BEST Ceremony Ever!!!

Michelle was the officiant for my wedding on June 24, 2023. The ceremony was beautiful, heartfelt and personal. We loved that Michelle kept a lot of the ceremony content a surprise to us, as that made it so much more special. So many of our guests came up to us that evening and told us it was the best wedding ceremony they had ever witnessed! From beginning to end, Michelle was so easy to work with, fun and flexible. She stuck with us through two postponements, one due to Covid-19 in 2021 and one due to the arrival of our son in 2022. Michelle was flexible, and even found a way to incorporate our little 10 month old son in our ceremony. We are SO glad we had Michelle officiate our big day, and would recommend her 1000%.

Michelle made our wedding day extra special!

When we began planning and contacting vendors, I did not know how much of an effect our choice of the officiant would have on our wedding. Michelle delivered a truly personal and heartfelt ceremony. Getting to know each other on our initial call was so fun and easy. She was also very helpful and took the time to answer any questions we had throughout the process. We received so many compliments on the ceremony, we would happily recommend her!

Personal and sincere yet light hearted experience

Michelle Scrimgeour-Brown did a fantastic job at our wedding. Her words and the way the ceremony was conducted was simple, intimate, sincere, yet cute and lighthearted at the appropriate moments. There was a hiccup when it came to rescheduling the rehearsal but she handled it professionally and was able to pull through for us. The one major feedback we received from guests and extended family after the wedding was that they left feeling like they knew us as a couple on a much closure level than ever before. I believe a big reason for that is because of how Michelle was able to arrange our Q&A answers and present "our story" to everyone in a way that was relatable and down to earth.

Michelle guided us through the process and options available to us for how the ceremony could unfold. She provided a variety of readings and vow options for us to choose from or build off of. Michelle is a phenomenal human being, and absolute gem that has become near and dear to us. She has worked with us through so many obstacles, wedding-related and otherwise, and when it came time for our ceremony it was everything we could have wished for and more.
