An amazing experience from start to finish!

We had the best experience working with Nancy! She was always so easy to communicate with, and quick to reply to any emails. From the moment we first met her in person, I got the best feeling from her. She was professional, funny, and explained everything so well. Nancy went out of her way to make our ceremony so personal to us, our guests were raving about how great of a job she did performing the ceremony. Having her at the rehearsal was optional, but I’m so glad she was there because she ran it like a pro and had everyone where they needed to be! I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Nancy, and I would highly recommend her to anyone getting married!

Very professional, knowledgeable and well organized.

During my wedding I was so stressed cz I was so busy don't know what to do, I called in the last minute to hire a wedding officiant but i all of them are fully booked except her, she's also fully booked and she has a tight schedule but she still put me in on her schedule. She's really in organizing and set up, very knowledgeable, and professional and affordable as well. I will recommend people or couples to hire this person, she is really good at it, she does all the works and nothing to worry about.

Absolutely wonderful

Nancy was very helpful with the planning of our ceremony. We decided to do a Handfasting ceremony, which she was more than happy to accommodate. She readily took charge at our rehearsal. On the day of, she made sure everyone was in place, had our bouquets, and new exactly what to expect next during the ceremony (ex: I forgot my bouquet at the signing table, which she covertly returned it to me without anyone noticing.). As well as, she moved out of the way as she announced the first kiss, that way out photographer could get a photo of just the two of us. Overall, she was extremely pleasant to work with and very accommodating.

Wonderful experience!!

Nancy was absolutely wonderful to work with and super accommodating. She did a great job of making sure everyone knew exactly what to do and that the ceremony was seamless. She also made sure to include personal details about my husband and I during the ceremony. She puts a high priority on making sure all the picture perfect moments are captured which was really important to me. I’m so happy we found her!

Look No Further - Nancy is the Officiant For You!

Nancy is everything we were looking for and more. She is so professional, so thorough, so thoughtful, and so kind. She took the time to get to know us and our love story very carefully and created a custom script for our ceremony. It felt so intimate and special to have our guests really feel like a part of our story. Having Nancy up there with us felt like a warm hug - it was stress free and she guided us through the whole process so smoothly.
Trust me - Nancy is the officiant for you. Easily our favourite vendor that we worked with. Thank you Nancy!!

Nancy rocks

Nancy was incredible. She took the time to get to know us and it felt that we've known her for years. We can't believe how well she put everything together and we couldn't of imagined our wedding without her.

Hands down the best wedding officiant in Alberta. Please pick Nancy for all your officiant needs!

Five stars are not enough!

I cannot put into words how wonderful Nancy was. From the initial contact and interview process through to her flexibility, with creating a thoughtful and personal ceremony, all the way to the rehearsal and day of the Wedding. I cannot give enough stars and cannot recommend her enough. The level of comfort that she provided to me as the bride to know that everything would be delivered well and to my expectations. She was an absolute dream to deal with, and made a lot of my stresses and worries disappear.

Nancy is Amazing

Nancy provided a video conference due to Covid restrictions for our initial meeting. We were provided with multiple ceremony options including using appropriate pronouns! When things changed due to a family member passing away, Nancy was supportive and ensured our tiny Covid wedding was perfect. I'm so happy with Nancy thank you so much!

Absolutely Perfect!

Thank you SO MUCH Nancy for officiating our wedding. You curated the most beautiful ceremony for us! You incorporated our love story into our ceremony so perfectly and every single guest in attendance commented on how much they loved your officiating and wished they had you to marry them! You made us feel so at ease during the ceremony and made it easy for us to follow your lead while repeating our vows. You created the perfect flow for our ceremony, you instructed us and our witnesses on how to sign the marriage license properly, you were punctual, you always answered all of our email questions within 24 hours and were kind enough to reach out a week before the wedding to touch base. You made us feel so supported throughout the whole process and we cannot thank you enough for being part of our special day.

Good day, I am Nancy Beirnes and I sincerely hope you choose me to officiate your wedding ceremony. So, here is a little bit about me: I am happily married with two young-adult children. I have been an Alberta appointed Marriage Commissioner since 2015, and there is nothing in the world I would rather be doing. I believe there should be smiles and laughter at every ceremony and I try to incorporate memorable touches or personal stories in every wedding I am a part of. When I am not officiating, I am sailing, cooking or enjoying a glass of red wine. Cheers!
