Stacy was extremely accommodating and helpful organizing our ceremony, especially given a number of changes during COVID-19. He took care of completing and processing all of the legal work and answered any questions we asked. Most importantly, he fit perfectly into our small family ceremony. Thanks Stacy!

Stacey Sellsted of Your Day Celebrations was our beacon of hope for having a wedding that was true to our values and beliefs. We were led down by another service who refused to marry us as a same-sex couple but were saved by a YDC who was there for us to marry us with dignity, respect for all people, and beautiful service that touched everyone's heart. The only complaint that I have is that I had not been exposed to their services sooner, because it would have saved me time! I have not been able to stop talking about how perfect Your Day Celebration has made the "technical" part of my wedding meaningful and perfect. In the year 2020, you cannot make a better choice in having a neutral, respectful, all-inclusive, pro-love ceremony that does not leave anyone out from the right to make this commitment to their sweetheart. Stacy did an incredible job as our wedding officiant in August 2019, I would choose him over and over again to perform our ceremony. Stacy is personable, friendly, and professional. When we first met with him, we spent at least an hour discussing our vision, he explained his approach to weddings and about the humanist philosophy which was perfect for us. Stacy provided templates which we used to find the words that we wanted to share in our vows. Outside of our vows, we wanted Stacy to take care of the ceremony details, and he did that perfectly.
He rolled with unforeseen situations on-the spot, at one point, a couple of transports drove by and shared their approval by honking loudly several times, disrupting the ceremony. Stacy incorporated that moment by saying: “everyone approves of your union”. It was cute and funny, and comforting (because it couldn’t be ignored), everyone laughed, and he continued without missing a beat. We received many compliments from our guests telling us how unique our wedding was, and that it was the nicest wedding they had been to. We did not want a religious ceremony and as a humanist officiant, Stacy made our day a celebration more special than either of us could have wished for. Stacy performed our wedding ceremony on August 29, 2020 in the midst of a pandemic and we couldn’t be happier.

Our entire wedding planning was rather last minute and Stacy was thorough, professional and accommodating throughout our experience.

He allowed us to customize as much or as little of the ceremony as we liked and we received many compliments from family and friends on our ceremony.

Stacy adhered to social distancing guidelines and looked professional while doing so! Though, he assured us if we wanted a Hawaiian shirt wedding he could accommodate but there would be a back up suit in the car - just in case.

Even following the ceremony, we have been in touch with Stacy and he has been happy to answer any follow-up questions we have. I would highly recommend Stacy for your special day.

Stacy was very professional and accommodating on somewhat of a short notice. The humanist aspect was perfect for us. He met with us beforehand to go over the details, explained everything and answered all of our questions. Definitely recommend for those who are looking for a secular wedding experience.
