  The best story-tellers of all time

  Where do I even start with Ame? My husband, Tony, and I knew we wanted a wedding video but we wanted something more than a traditional wedding day video. When we looked at Ame's wedding story films, we immediately fell in love with their style of story-telling. When we first met up with the team, we were a bit nervous because we both weren't comfortable in front of cameras nor did we know what kind of story we wanted to tell. However, upon meeting Phoebe and Kevin, they made the entire process effortless for us.
  
  During our initial discussions, we all immediately bonded over our babies and although I still didn't know what kind of story I wanted to tell, I knew that I wanted to capture this special moment in time when my son had just turned 1 and how he became my husband and I's biggest motivation and inspiration.
  
  The entire process took Kevin about 4 visits in total (not including the actual wedding day) which captured footage of our family at home, at the park, Tony's work, as well my MIL's place. He asked a lot of questions and never once made Tony and I felt awkward or nervous in front of a camera. I even remember asking Tony at the end whether we made it easy for Kevin to create a story because we couldn't envision ourselves in a film like the ones we saw on his website.
  
  When we saw the final product, Tony and I were blown away at the magic Kevin created. I think I was in shock during our viewing and when we got home and rewatched it again with family and friends, I couldn't stop crying because of all the moments he was able to capture of our son and the story he was able to tell that included Tony's work ethic and how that stemmed from his mom. Combined with all the wedding day footage he and his team captured, we couldn't be more grateful for our wedding story film.
  
  Tony and I always said we wanted something more than a wedding day video. We wanted a film that would capture our life in this particular moment, and a film that we would be proud to show our kids in the future. Ame delivered and did just that. Thank you so much to Kevin and his entire team for making us the most beautiful wedding and family film for us. We truly can't thank you all enough!

  We are truly beyond grateful to Ame Collective for capturing our story and our wedding day! From the very first interaction with Phoebe, we could already feel the passion and professionalism they had for storytelling. Throughout the whole process and day, the team were all so kind and supportive - helping us feel at ease. The final video was nothing short of amazing, and it so perfectly encapsulated the joy and love we, our friends and family, all felt.

  unique, tailored-to-you videography

  My husband and I always knew that we wanted a wedding video as a token or memory for us to look back on as we get old. So many of our friends have had Ame Collctive at their wedding and it was finally our turn. We had no doubts that they'd deliver exceptional work, but I was concerned and a little nervous because I am so awkward and unnatural when being filmed on camera. Our goal was to have it look natural, to be in our usual environment and tell a story that is unique and tailored for us. That is exactly what Ame Collective did for us every step of the way. After meeting Phoebe and talking for almost 2.5 hours, we felt confident and comfortable to answer initial questions and brainstorm ideas for this video. It wasn't until filming started, that I understood the amount of dedication and craft that was put into filming a video. The deep questions that brough out raw emotions in us, talking about our memories, childhood, how we were raised and how those things shaped us to where we are now really moved me to tears. Kevin, our videographer captured all of those things but in the most beautiful way through his lens. To be able to understand our story, Kevin dedicated so much time to each location and filmed us in our day to day life. The nerves I had were instantly gone and it was such a memorable experience. I can't thank this team enough for being able to not only tell our story, but to be able to do it in such a way that captivates their audience so well. The amount of compliments we had after the wedding and for people asking if they can see the video again was numerous. I also wanted to mention that the same day edit video is compiled in a short amount of time. To be able to string together a video that fast just blew us out of the water. I am forever grateful that we had the opportunity to work with such an accomplish team. Ame collective Inc., you made our day that much better and we now have something to watch and carry those memories with us forever.

  In A Class By Itself

  One of the most important decisions about our wedding was choosing the right artists to visual and conceptualize our wedding. During the first consultation meeting, Phoebe told us a bit about the company, its background and their values. She then showed us both their photo and film work from previous weddings...and they were incredible. Right after the meeting, we knew that Âme was the right company for us.
  
  The process leading up to our wedding day was stress free and easy going. For our engagement shoot, we met Eric who was assigned to our wedding as the lead photographer and he helped us feel at ease and comfortable as I usually hate being in front of cameras. As we had chosen to go with the Story package, interviews with us and and family members were also conducted months before our actual wedding date. During the consultation, we fell in love with the films that encompassed and portrayed the background journey's of the couples vs the films of just the wedding day itself. The emotion and feeling of the complete story to us, felt like it holds immense value. Kevin was our lead videographer, and right away you could tell that he is a visual storyteller at heart.
  
  Finally, our wedding day had arrived. The whole Âme crew showed up on time and again made us feel comfortable. It was a hot day, so they were mindful to execute the shots they needed in the sun, while also directing us to more beautiful shady locations. We opted to also get the Same Day Edit add on to be shown at our reception. I was a bit skeptical of this add on as the guests are usually socializing and drinking. Honestly.. it was WORTH IT!! We don't know what kind of wizardry Phoebe was doing on her computer throughout the whole day, but holy f*cking sh*t we absolutely had no idea it would be THAT amazing mere hours after the footage had been filmed. Family and friends could not stop talking about it right after it was shown. It was THE icing on the cake to an already stunning day.
  
  A few months after our wedding, we received the finished product. A hand crafted box with our USB and some printed photos of Âme's favourite selections from that day. The moments that were photographed by Eric and team were stunning, he froze moments that can't be imitated again and to us that was so important. Simply put, this was a visual story told by photos and film not only of us, but of the 2 families becoming one.
  
  If you are researching and unsure who to choose to capture your day, just stop. Book that consultation meeting with Phoebe and you'll understand. This is a once in a lifetime day to be captured and it was WELL worth the investment! I would give 10/5 stars if I could.

  The Team That Helped Make Our Memories Last Forever - Ame Collective Inc.

  There are not enough words that we can use to express the gratitude that we feel, to have met and worked with every single person at Ame Collective.
  Simply put, we loved our entire experience with the Ame team, as we all worked towards making our Wedding day as magical and memorable as possible.
  We decided to go with the Combined Wedding Story Film package, as we really wanted to invest in making our special day in time, truly memorable.
  In retrospect, it was all undoubtedly worth it!
  
  From our first encounter, an in person consultation with Phoebe, to our last as a video/photo screening with our film lead Matthieu, it was all that we could have asked for and more:
  Our sit down meeting with Phoebe was amazing as she showed us their portfolio of their past work and the proof was in the pudding. For us, we fell in love with the emotions and vibes that seem to resonate in all of their past work. We had already taken a bit of a deep dive into their Instagram by this point, but that meeting with Phoebe really gave us a personal connection to the team that produced such great stories and captured really beautiful moments.
  
  Shortly after, the team introduced themselves and explained how things generally go. We quickly understood that they were going to be there to work with us to achieve the vision and way we wanted to remember our wedding day, even though we weren't even sure which direction we wanted to go with our wedding story just yet.
  
  The engagement photo session with Natalie could not have gone any better. It felt very natural and easy to just be ourselves and as we got to know Natalie more, it was very easy to relate and feel relaxed. Our photos were given to us faster than we expected and we absolutely loved them! It was at this point that we knew we were in good hands and if the rest of the Ame team was anything like Natalie, then everything else will be smooth sailing. She was able to capture so many photos that we adored and we quickly realized that we could use these photos as part of our wedding decorations.
  
  The rest of the months that we spent planning was definitely exciting, as each of us spent time with Kevin to find the right angle that we wanted to focus and reflect on during film sessions for our Wedding Story. After some video calls and scheduling, we got to the actual day for filming and we both noticed that we felt a lot of comfort in the intimate moments that we each shared about our lives and how we felt about one another. It was easy to open up and be honest with Kevin as he was great at provoking our thoughts and memories of each other.
  
  When we got to the actual day of our Wedding, it was time to finally just enjoy the moments that we were planning for so long and we felt reassured having our photo/video teams by our side. They arrived on time and it felt right to let the day go however it was going to, because they were there to capture it all for us and help us relive such a happy and joyous day in our lives. They spent all day with us and they were true profressionals the entire time, never missing a beat.
  
  After the wedding, we found ourselves anxiously wanting to reach out every week/month to check on how our Wedding Story Film was progressing, but we kept ourselves in check and allowed the team to work their magic. We selfishly wanted to already relive such an important day in our lives and could not wait for the Ame team to contact us. Luckily the Ame team delivered in a very timely fashion. The culmination of our Wedding Story Film was with a private screening of the movie with Phoebe and our lead film director Matthieu.
  
  During our film screening meeting, we were also shown the wedding photo selections chosen for us, as a sample of the rest of the photos we were being given. We loved each and every one of them and were amazed at how many of the happy moments they were able to capture on our wedding day. All of the reels(ceremony, reception, speeches, etc) were really a nice surprise, since we did not expect them to turn out so well but each reel gave us an up close and unique perspective of the big moments during our wedding.
  
  Viewing the Wedding Story Film was so breathtaking for us, as we were finally able to see the finished product after many months of planning and anticipation.
  We knew that we really wanted to invest in truly making this day memorable and we got exactly what we asked for. The Ame team sure delivered and the same core values that we felt personal connections to during our initial consultation, was now shining through in our own little film. Having this film was a special bonus to the rest of the package reels/photos and we thoroughly enjoyed the process of helping create something that turned out so beautiful.
  They captured and understood who we were as individuals and as a couple, while tying it in with our wedding day. They produced a beautiful story that we have already watched countless times over. We feel very proud of what we received from the Ame team and we could not thank them enough for their hard work and dedication. They were true masters of their crafts, helping capture the most intimate and loved moments of a day that you never want to forget.
  
  Our only regret is that we wish we were able to spend more time with each and every one of the Ame team. We felt like they got to know us so much but we only wish we had the time to get to know them in the same way. They are people that we could easily relate to and feel comfortable with. The kind that you just feel lucky to know.

The team was able to capture the mood, the feeling, the emotion behind the day. All little moments put together from your special day are lost in your memories, but Ame Collective was able to grab onto those scenes and create a story for us. They spoke with us to understand what it is that we wanted to remember and what values were important to us, and their talented team was able to bring that to life in cinema quality. Truly this is one of the most treasured things we now have and can revisit for the rest of our lives.   One-of-a-kind Wedding Photography and Videography experience!!!

  The experience with Âme was truly amazing. We knew we wanted to book them because we loved what we heard from our friends who used them for their weddings. Similar to our friends' experience, they were amazing at responding and answering questions and just so easy to work with. We also really loved their work from seeing our friends wedding photos and videos. They are a one-of-a-kind wedding photography and videography company that really incorporates the story of the couple. My husband and I are so wowed everytime we watch our videos. Âme was able to capture all of the important moments for us. We highly recommend going with Âme if you are getting married and want them to capture every moment, and tell your story.

  Amazing experience!

  We had such an amazing experience with Ame Collective and loved our photos and videos! We would strongly recommend choosing Ame Collective! Their ability to tell a story through photos and videos is extraordinary! Both my husband and I are quite shy and awkward in front of the camera but Eric made us feel comfortable during our engagement shoot and the photos came out very naturally. On our wedding day, the team did an amazing job capturing all those precious moments, a lot that I missed myself on the wedding day. They were very attentive and captured many of our friends and loved ones from many different angles. Our wedding video was beyond our expectations. Ame collective did an amazing job telling our story and brought us to tears! Thank you so much Phoebe, Eric, Kevin and the rest the team!

  Ame Collective was Amazing!

  Our experience with Ame Collective was amazing. They were very professional in how they conducted themselves but at the same time, we felt like we were working with friends. We’re both very shy around the camera and have no idea how to pose for pictures but Eric made us feel very comfortable. He guided us perfectly for our engagement shoot and made it easy for us to transition naturally for our wedding shoot. Kevin captured key moments during our special day beautifully with his videography. His experience and expertise really showed in his direction and attention to detail of where and when to film. Phoebe walked us through the process, patiently answering our questions and helping meet our every need. Overall, we felt very well taken care of, and are very happy with the outcome of our Wedding experience with Ame. We highly recommend Ame Collective!

When we got our photos, I relived all the incredible moments and memories of that day. I love my photos and recommend Ame Collective to anyone looking for photography/videography for their big day.
