Samineh is both a fantastic photographer and a very caring person. The way she treats her clients is unlike anything I've seen before. Beyond taking stunning, glamorous photographs, I've witnessed her do things like emergency dress fixing with a sewing kit, fixing a bride's make-up, rearranging decor to create more luxurious backdrops for photos etc...I can go on and on

Samineh creates magic. She has a way of finding the perfect angle, lighting and of course expressions. I would never hesitate to recommend her to anyone who wants a true professional to create a customized wedding photography experience.

My husband and I had 3 great experiences with Samineh. She's professional, caring and understanding. She pays attention to details and you would appreciate that when you see your photos. She almost captured all the special moments and we can't thank her enough!

Samineh is not professional and I'm honestly surprised that she is still in business and so many people use her. We had to constantly message her to get our photos and she would never respond and then make up lies that she never saw the messages. We should have seen the red flag when getting a quote from her took months. The day of the event she was good and professional but everything before and after was awful.

My husband and I hired Samineh from Belluxe Photography for our 2019 wedding. When we first met Samineh, she led us to believe that she was going to provide us the best service and photograph our engagement, tea ceremony, and wedding. When she sent us the contract, I noticed that she didn’t include the tea ceremony we had talked about during our meeting, and when I told her it wasn’t in the contract, she responded with that it’s fine and to not worry as it will be done. This was the very first mistake. I felt she was rushing us to sign the contract and send her the deposit stating that the availability is going to be taken up soon if I didn’t sign with her.

Fast forward to a week before our wedding, our wedding planner went over the details one last time. This is when Samineh told us that the tea ceremony WILL NOT be included in the package and if we wanted to shoot it, we would have to pay her extra money. This was absurd, as we had already paid her in full (about 10k) and she had told us from the beginning that everything would be included. We even hired a third photographer out of her recommendation.

When I had shown her the messages where we talked about the tea ceremony, she denied them and continued to say it was not part of the contract. You can imagine how stressed we were one week before our wedding! Luckily, we had a family friend (who also attended our wedding) help shoot our tea ceremony in our home.

This was the kicker. When Samineh found out on the day of our wedding, she refused to come to Fairmont Hotel to shoot the wedding. Our wedding planner + designer had to force her to come. When we met her at the hotel, she was so horrible to us, she didn’t listen to our wedding planner and to us when we wanted certain photos done. Mind you, we hired 3 photographers because we wanted lots of photos of our family members.

During the reception, we noticed all the photographers had gone missing. My husband found them all having dinner (which we also paid for) for over an hour. We were fine with them having dinner, but when we asked them if one of them can go back to the reception to take photos, Samineh said no. She said none of her photographers can take photos without her because they might not take the right photos. This was crazy! We had a whole hour of no photos. My husband let it go because this was our wedding night and he didn’t want Samineh to ruin it for us. They actually left soon after the cake cutting because they were only hired for 10 hours (which 1 hour was for dinner). This was the second mistake, as we had overlooked it because she promised she would continuously shoot throughout the night.

3 days after the wedding, my husband and I left for our honeymoon. Samineh sent us a long email stating how we breached our contract and for us to receive our photos, we would need to pay the extra money for the tea ceremony and we were not allowed to post any of our tea ceremony photos for 1 year. She is so manipulative. We tried to talk to her saying that the contract never stated it and we talked about it not being included. She denied it and stated that it was part of the contract. Holding ALL of our wedding photos hostage was unbelievable.

When we returned, Samineh refused to talk to me in person/on the phone stating that her lawyers would not recommend it. So eventually, my husband and I decided to pay her the extra money instead of risking ALL OF OUR WEDDING PHOTOS. She was terrible at communication, always has an excuse as to why she couldn’t message you. I had to ask for an update each month because she never messaged or called me and I was afraid she would delete all my photos. Finally, on May 5, 2021, I received my photo album.

I would never in a million years, ever, recommend Samineh, Belluxe Photography to anyone. She is so heartless and takes advantage of her clients, all for money. This is not love, and this was not the wedding photos we had imagined. This was the worst experience and I hope no one ever has to go through this.
