We worked primarily with Melissa from Brian's team, since Brian is no longer local to us. Working with both of them was easy from start to finish. We did our engagement shoot with Melissa as well and it was great to have kind of a pre-wedding "practice" to basically have a vibe check. The photos were amazing and Brian got them back to us really quickly, both after the engagement shoot and the wedding. Everyone loved working with Melissa & Magda day of - they were friendly and really focused on making sure that we were enjoying the day first, and looking great for pictures second.

Get ready folks, this is going to be a long one… but in case you’re looking for a quick rec, just hire Brian. He’s the best. You won’t regret it.

Now, the longer version... When we first started planning our wedding, we wanted to make sure we had the best team that would make the planning process and the wedding day as fun and effortless as possible, and who would also be able to capture us as a couple, like the ‘real’ us.

We had arranged to meet a few photographers, but as soon as we met Brian, we knew we wanted to work with him. Brian is the type of guy you just want to hang out with – super easy going and hilarious, but also extremely professional.

Now here’s a few things that you should know about us that speak to Brian’s abilities as a photographer: My partner and I are absolutely not into PDA; we’re not cuddly or romantical (especially in public), and we are hands down the most awkward couple when a camera comes out. Brian made us feel so comfortable, embraced our awkwardness, laughed with us, reassured us, and ultimately produced the most AMAZING pictures.

Brian worked with us so that he knew what types/styles of pictures we liked, and that’s 100% what we got (and more!). We cannot get over 1) how many absolutely stunning photos Brian was able to capture; 2) how much our wedding party and guests LOVED him (we heard all about how awesome/professional everyone thought he was…actually, still hearing about it!); and 3) how fast Brian got our pictures back to us (about a week – we were expecting 1-2 months!).

The most common comment from our friends and family who have seen the pictures is, “all of these photos are f*** amazing – how are you going to choose which ones to share?!” Fortunately, this is the only issue we've had, we can't choose. We've spent countless hours over the last three weeks going through our beautiful photos, trying to decide which ones to print... alas, to Homesense we go to purchase more frames.

We loved having Brian as our photographer! Every meeting before hand was a great mix of professional and fun, and we always felt like we were on the same page. On the actual day he was really helpful with keeping us on track time wise, as well as making sure that we got all the shots that we wanted, even when they were last minute additions. And all of the shots he took are beautiful! It was a great mix of portraits, fun/dynamic shots, detail shots, and lots of pictures of our guests as well. We love looking through the online gallery and physical album.

Brian went above and beyond on our wedding day. It poured rain on our wedding day and our plan involved an outdoor first look. We didn’t really have a back up plan but Brian saved the day with quick thinking. The morning of our wedding felt a little hectic but Brian’s arrival was like a breath of fresh air. It felt like we could relax because we knew we were in good hands. We were running behind and Brian was able to get us back on track without ever making us feel rushed. He made everyone at the wedding feel apart of something special. I cannot recommend him enough.

We were so happy to have had Brian as our photographer! He helped make our engagement photo session a reality and was so enthusiastic throughout the whole process. He captured such a fun day with our dog with our favourite city as a backdrop. On our wedding day Brian and his assistant, Cristina, made our bridal party so comfortable and really brought out some real emotions and captured it so well in photos. We love a good dance party and Brian was right in the middle of the action and got so many great moments of our friends and family enjoying the night, it was all we could ask for! Plus Brian got our photos to us soo fast we we’re blown away. We gifted candid photos of our guests as part of our thank you cards because of the special moments he captured and they loved them so much. We appreciated Brian’s calm and enthusiastic energy every step of the way!

We couldn’t be happier with he way our photos turned out. They capture our memories so well. Brian was a pleasure to be around and really enhanced our day with his personality and positivity. Highly recommend :)

My husband and I knew we wanted Brian as our photographer after working with him for my brother's wedding! He was so laid back and easy to work with! He was also super responsive to emails, organized and even came to Montreal to shoot our wedding! We are still obsessed with our wedding pictures!!

Brian photographed our engagement shoot in November 2016 at Victoria Park in Kitchener and wedding in July 2017 at Roseville Estate in Cambridge. Brian is incredibly down to earth and easy to get along with. He made our initial meeting about us/getting to know us as a couple vs just selling us on his photography (like I had experienced with other photographers during the search). We knew after this first meeting that he was a good fit for us. We really enjoyed his more laid back style, which helped us get comfortable in front of his camera. He executed our vision for the engagement shoot perfectly and was very attentive to all of my little requests on the wedding day as well. We absolutely love our photos!
