Prior to our session with Brian Ly, we didn't know what to expect, as we've done photoshoots in the past where they had us do more "posing", than natural candid photos. As soon as we started, we immediately felt very comfortable and natural. It was so enjoyable, fun, and we laughed so much! It was the complete opposite of what we have experienced in the past. Being able to shoot with our dog was also a bonus! The experience and photos have surpassed our expectations and we would no doubt recommend Brian to photograph your dream photos too!

We had a wonderful engagement photoshoot with Brian. Before the shoot, we had some nerves around making the photos look natural and not knowing how to pose, but Brian completely set us at ease and made us feel comfortable while taking photos. He is excellent at providing prompts and guidance to bring out our chemistry and what makes us "us." We loved the photo gallery we received--there are so many gems in there we don't even know what to post on social media first! My fiancé and I have never done any kind of photoshoot before, so you could imagine we were a little anxious to get in front of the camera. Brian is just such a cool guy and very easy to work with. He made the process feel very natural and relaxed for us. Brian walked us through his process and helped us to get a better sense of what he was going for. He was very open to our input and allowed us to get the shots we imagined. I love that Brian uses clever methods to get true candid reactions from us and photographs these moments beautifully! Quality photography was always an investment that my fiancé and I were committed to making when it came to our engagement and wedding. Obviously, we had our own worries and doubts, having heard many horror stories from friends and family, who paid a pretty penny for quality and timely photos that did not live up to their expectations. Our other concern was, my fiancé and I have little no experience in front of camera and are by no means naturals. So going into our engagement photo session with Brian, we were definitely nervous. Right off the bat, Brian was able to settle those nerves down. Before the engagement shoot, he sat us down made us feel comfortable and guided us through the entire process and even suggested some safe poses in case we didn’t know what to do with our hands or body. He also provided some activities that really helped break the ice in front of the camera and to allow for us beautiful moments to be captured.
