You are outstanding in your field...LOL Enough of the clichés. You made it easy for me to perform the ceremony totally connected to the couple without being distracted. It was an amazing to have a photoshoot with Burnett Photography!
My fiancé, friends and family really loved the pictures. The pictures were beautiful and very well done with editing the photos.
They are really helpful during the photoshoot and before the photoshoot. You will get some advice to do some poses, so you really get the right pose and posture. Shirleen is very responsive with the email to do the communication, also I can reach them through their phone number.
They are really impressed me with all the pictures and I think they meet my expectations. Overall, it was worth it to get a photoshoot with Burnett Photography. I would recommend them if you would like to have a wedding photography, proposals, and other events. Lastly, they really taking care of us during the photoshoot in the winter, they keep us warm and help us a lot throughout the whole process of my proposals.

I started out by shopping around and contacting several photographers. Shirleen was first to respond and answered all of my questions swiftly and cheerfully. She was willing to travel into the mountains, came with top notch cameras and lighting equipment, arrived on time, had a wealth of creative ideas, and made every moment count. She was incredibly passionate about capturing fantastic shots. Our ceremony was in December and it was quite cold. Shirleen and her assistant, Kaitlyn, braved the cold like it was nothing. They were completely undeterred by any challenging conditions (ice, snow, cold) and we were rewarded with truly unique and stunning photos. Both ladies were fabulously warm, friendly, energetic, and engaged not only with us, but also with all of our friends and family in attendance.

Over the next few months, Shirleen was an invaluable wedding planning resource for us, providing us with hair stylist and makeup artist recommendations and answering all of our questions! During the early days of planning, we had reached out to our top choice for marriage officiant and had been turned down; Shirleen made a personal phone call ,and he opened up his availability for us! It’s good to have friends in high places!
However, the fondant on the cake for us was that a few days before we met with Shirleen and Troy to look over albums and get to know each other, Matt and I found out we were expecting. The timing was perfect and we told Shirleen and Troy that we wanted to announce our news to everyone during family photos following the ceremony! They loved the idea and we had so much fun brainstorming how to make this happen.
On the big day, we felt surprisingly comfortable in front of the camera; there was so much laughter and joking that it felt like we were hanging out with old friends. Our big reveal was a huge surprise for everyone and we are so grateful that we were able to capture everyone’s reactions on film and not only be able to relive that moment, but to share it with our friends and soon, with our little one :)
The morning after our wedding we woke up to some great teaser photos, which was a wonderful touch. We received most of our photos within 3 weeks and over the next week we received the rest, including a video compilation and a fun blog. We have friends who’ve had to wait for 3 months to receive their photos back, so getting them back in 3 weeks was unexpected and so appreciated!

Being a photographer is not a "job" to me. It's my passion.
Photography fascinates me in every way. I have a totally nerdy side that loves all the technical details: the cameras, lighting equipment, software and computer programs. I eat it up! It's the tools of my poetry.
I specialize in creating dramatic portraits in beautiful natural environments. I adore the thrill of lighting, posing and coaching just about anyone to feel glamorous and sexy on their wedding day.
If I were the wealthiest woman in the world, I would still be a wedding photographer. I love it that much.

Isis is named after an Egyptian Goddess. Need I say more?
She is fluent in French, English and currently working on Spanish. A lover of chickens, Japanese anime, scuba diving and food.
Isis is a hard-core critic of my photography and pushes me to improve my craft in ways only a smart-assed teenage daughter can. You can be sure that Isis is working for your best interests as she looks over my shoulder while I edit and makes biting comments like "I've seen better" or "Really, mom?" Impressing her is harder than winning an award with some of the best international competitions in the world. I know I've arrived when she smiles and give me an enthusiastic thumbs up.
With such high standards, I know we can expect amazing things from this gal in the future. Until then, she carries my gear and holds lights!
I'm a native Albertan from the Edmonton area who graduated from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) in 2017. I joined Burnett Photography after doing a 2-week internship with Troy and Shirleen. I was drawn to the company because of their unique husband and wife dynamic.
Moving to the mountains was a dream come true for me. The wild beauty and purity of the natural landscape literally gives me goosebumps. I love to share that feeling with our couples.
