Colleen, the founder of the company, has more than a decade of experience capturing moments and creating exquisite imagery. She will demonstrate genuine care for every couple, maintaining an unobtrusive presence while documenting each spontaneous moment. Colleen will put her clients at ease from the very beginning, securing their trust and encouraging them to showcase their natural personalities.
Services Offered
Colleen will get to know each soon-to-be-newlywed on a personal basis, developing an understanding of their preferred style and tastes. Engaged couples have the opportunity to avail of a variety of wedding photography services including engagement shoots and multiple location shoots. Colleen understands the importance of seamless service, operating exclusively on a one-event-per-day policy as well as offering a second photographer and additional hours. There is an array of photography items available including albums, canvases, digital files, prints, and thank-you cards.

Meet the team
Colleen Anne Johnson is the lead photographer and owner of Colleen Anne Photography. She began photographing weddings professionally in 2005 and is an active member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association and Fearless Photographers. Her photographs have been published in the Globe and Mail, BeerAdvocate magazine, and in Photo Life Magazine. Her wedding work has been featured on Offbeat Bride. Colleen's artwork has been exhibited at the Canada Council Art Bank; The G2 Gallery in Venice, California; the Canadian Museum of Civilization and Ottawa City Hall.
Colleen studied black and white fine art photography at the Ottawa School of Art and, in 2005, she earned a Photography Diploma from Algonquin College, graduating with honours. Colleen has also earned an Honours Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Carleton University, where she studied art history and film, which continue to inform her photographic works today.
