Couvrette Photography is one of Ottawa, Ontario's most reputed photo studios. The studio is a 4000 sq. ft. and located in Gladstone Street. With decades of experience in portrait and wedding photography, the team is comprised of two full time staff and a number of associate photographers. The style of the company is a mixture of some contemporary portraiture and striking photojournalism - perfected over the years.

Experience

Paul Couvrette, the owner of the business, is the only Ottawa studio owner to win the Canadian Commercial Photographer of the Year award. Paul's clients include the Presidents and Mayors of Ottawa as well as The Supreme, Federal and Tax Courts of Canada for more than 25 years. Paul has travelled to Arctic, China, and some of the most extreme places in Canada. His work has been on display in the Epcot Centre. Some of his achievements include the following:

Has worked on multiple editorials and covers in Ottawa Life, Citizen Style and Homes and Lands and has created the Official Portraits for Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Barbara McLachlin in 2014
Worked Ottawa Roughriders Cheerleaders shoot for Ottawa Citizen Style magazine in 2013
Created editorial and PR shoot for Johnny Vegas and won the Best Cover for Architecture, Homes and Lands Canada in 2012
Was honored by Ottawa Life Magazine as one of Ottawa's Top 25 Citizens in 2011
Won People's Choice Award for Portraiture in Ottawa in 2006
Was chosen as Ottawa's Top Photography Studio by Ottawa Sun readers in 2003
Won Fuji Masterpiece Award for Commercial Photography
Won three Bronze Awards for Editorial Photography at National Mature Media Awards in 2001

All of the work covered by the business is liability insured. Couvrette Photography covers only one event per day. Services of a second photographer can be availed. An online wedding magazine album and several hours of photography coverage are included in all the wedding packages.
