Darlington Studios offers photography and cinematic videography for weddings and engagement sessions. It is owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Paul and Melanie Darlington. Based in Barrie, Ontario, they believe that the key to creating beautiful images begins with the relationship between the photographer and the client. Their relaxed process ensures the entire experience is positive and enjoyable for couples.

Experience

Photography talent runs in Paul's family. He was inspired to pick up his first camera when he saw some amazing images taken by his grandfather, who was a navigator for the R.C.A.F. in WWII. Paul first worked as a photographer at the Museum of Horror and Torture in London, England, where he met the Rolling Stones and Blondie. He later was a photographer for Princess Cruises. Melanie is a graduate from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Radio, Television and Film production and a had a concentration in Russian language. She has worked as a casting director for extras in the movies Chain Reaction and Blues Brothers 2000.
