Hi, I'm Sam, the owner of Doswell Weddings, a photography studio based in Toronto, Ontario. I specialize in capturing weddings in a bright, contemporary style that blends storytelling with natural, candid moments. My journey began in 2021, photographing the special bond between horses and their human companions. That experience taught me the importance of authenticity and connection—something I now bring to every wedding I photograph.

I take on one event per day, offering customizable wedding packages to suit a range of budgets and needs. Packages can include engagement sessions, timeline support, printing rights, and high-resolution digital files.

Additional options include a second photographer and access to beautiful printed products such as matted prints, canvases, albums, save-the-date cards, and thank-you cards.

Makes it all better!

I was so fortunate to have her as my photographer. She comes into everything with great energy and her ability to work in any environment is impressive. I was a lot more calm and didn’t feel any pressure with my photos being taken. I enjoyed the photoshoot and her creativity and eye for a picture goes a long way. Definitely worth it !

Great Experience!

Samantha is incredible to work with. She directed poses, offered picture suggestions and took our requested shots. I enjoyed working with her and I’m excited to receive our final photos.

She is very easy to communicate with and i would recommend her as a wedding photographer.

Engagement Shoot

Samantha came prepared, two cameras and full of enthusiasm. My fiancé and I were certain we wanted horses to be involved in our engagement session, which Sam was more than happy to accommodate. After we had finished up with the horses we thought we were done, but Sam wanted us to have some photos of just us, she walked us through various poses, took us to different areas of the farm and always made sure the lighting was perfect. My favourites were the ones on the deck. These are photos I will cherish, and look back on with a smile on my face

Amazing Photographer!

What an amazing experience. We booked Sam on super short notice and she went above and beyond our expectations. She was a big part of the day and did an absolutely amazing job. I could not have been happier to have her as our photographer. 100/10 - highly recommend. Thanks for making our memories of such a special day so beautiful, I will look at the over and over and be able to relive that day!

Enthusiastic, Professional, Always Prepared!

The thing about working with Sam is that she is quintessentially the best in the business. Don't know how to pose? Sam does. Feeling a little down on yourself? Sam will make you feel gorgeous. Forget something? Sam's got a spare and has already thought about when you'll need it. On top of all that, the artistry she captures through the lens of the camera is EXQUISITE and PERFECTION.

A remarkable engagement shoot with a very talented photographer

We did our engagement shoot with Sammy in the Lower Antelope Canyon in Arizona. It was a challenging shoot as we were rushed on our tour but Sammy still got so many remarkable photos. The photos turned out so beautifully and captured our love so nicely. She also was able to capture the beauty of the canyon as well which made the photos so nice and special. Would definitely recommend Sammy to anyone wanting to use her for engagement shoots, weddings, and any other types of events.

Amazing wedding photoshoot with Sam filled with so much fun and laughter!

We had the best experience doing a wedding photoshoot in a studio with Sam. She was very professional and came prepared with a vision, props and so many amazing ideas. She made us feel so comfortable and confident throughout the whole shoot. She kept in constant communication with us from the beginning to the end. We had a lot of fun and she was able to capture genuine candid moments. She really knew how to show our emotions and feelings through her photography. Sam’s photography skills are out of this world and we are truly happy with the results! We will frame and treasure these memories forever. Thank you Sam!!!

Sam is an excellent mix of professionalism and friendliness. It is very easy to relax and feel comfortable while shooting with her, and she does a great job of directing poses and shots that look natural. I would absolutely recommend her for any service, I loved working with her.

Lots of natural shots capturing those candid moments

We are so pleased that we chose Doswell as the photographer for my bridal shower. The photos are exactly what I wanted - a great mix of lovely photos of friends and family throughout the evening, nice group pictures and lots of natural shots showing really fun and sweet moments. She was very prompt returning the images with an easy to use app.

A bit about me; I enjoy travelling, being a plant mom, country music with a good fire, currently binging Suits on Netflix, and I love cooking and trying new foods!
