I have been a professional photographer and filmmaker for over 15 years. I am an Australian who has lived and worked all over the world, mostly in broadcast television, but turned freelance creative when I wanted more flexibility to raise my family.
I have a bachelor degree in Communications and Media Production from the University of Canberra in Australia. I have worked across various media sectors, mostly for national television companies. I have produced live news and sports for companies such as CTV Calgary. I taught in the Film/TV school at SAIT and photography at Red Deer College.
My experience ranges from corporate communications, social media management, television and commercial production to lifestyle photography and wedding films.
Despite all, I love photographing portraits. I love capturing the soul of someone in an image and the emotion between people. This is why I love weddings. There is so much being said without words. I love trying to tell the story being played on such a special day.
