My Husband, Richard, and I have had such an amazing experience with Heather as a photographer (and friend!). She was recommended by a good friend of ours at their wedding, and from there we asked Heather to take our engagement photos.

Richard and I have never had our photos taken professionally outside of arranged school photos, and we couldn’t have had a more amazing, personable time with Heather. Driving to our shoot I remember being so nervous (will I be awkward? Will they look good?), but that all went away because Heather makes you feel so comfortable. She makes the experience so fun. From setting up the shoot to driving home, we knew we were in good hands. During the whole shoot she was filled with amazing ideas, guided us in our poses and was so encouraging - exactly what we were hoping for. From then, we booked Heather to photograph our wedding. We had so many emotions that day, but one thing we didn’t have to worry about was our photo and video team. From the start to end of our day, Heather guided us through the process and took photos of our most important and intimate moments with family, friends and each other. We worked with Heather for our engagement photos and for our wedding photos and the entire experience was amazing! Heather is great at making you feel comfortable in front of the camera and helps so much with posing to strike a great balance of posed and natural!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Heather; we worked with her for our engagement shoot and our wedding in October 2021. Heather ensures that you are comfortable in front of the camera (which is saying a lot when you're a super, duper awkward person!). When my husband and I started planning our wedding, we knew the most important thing to us was a photographer (and good food of course!). When we first met with Heather, we knew she was the one! She made our engagement picture ideas come to life, and we were soooo happy with our choice.

Where do I even begin with Heather!

From the get go, she was of the warmest and most easy going people to speak with - from initial discussions we instantly felt comfortable and at ease with her and knew she was the one.

We first met in person to do our engagement photos, and they turned out amazing!!! She was able to keep us relaxed in front of her camera (something we're not the best at), and through lots of laughing and having fun, we ended up with an amazing set of photos that TRULY captured us, our neighbourhood and our love, and we couldn't wait to share them.

Leading up the wedding, again, we had the nicest and friendliest communication with her - she is so genuine and you can tell she is just as excited for your big day as you are! We did a venue tour with her as well, since we had an unusual space, so we could pre plan some great spots for photos.

As for the actual wedding - the pictures are PERFECT! Again, she puts you at such ease, it was an absolutely breeze working with her. What's even more impressive, is that she did our wedding as one-woman show, and still managed to capture each moment from every angle.

One of the most standout moments to me though, was when the fire alarm went off during our cocktail hour (everything was okay, but we had to evacuate for a bit). She could tell that we were stressed out and worried, so she made a point to get us away from the crowd of everyone, so we could take the time to get some more shots of the two of us in the garden. She helped keep us distracted, and made sure to make the absolute most of every minute, and legitimately eased my anxiety around the fire alarm situation. And we even got some memorable wedding photos on the fire truck that answered the alarm haha!

She even stuck with us at the wedding well into the dancing, and captured some truly memorable photos of us having the time of our lives on the dance floor.

Just 4 weeks after the wedding, she delivered us fully edited shots that we'll cherish forever! Her soft and romantic editing is truly breathtaking - she is so talented. And just to top everything off, we received our photos in a beautiful decorated wooden box, complete with a touching note handwritten by her.
