  Amazing Experience - Engagement and Wedding Photo Shoot

  My Husband, Richard, and I have had such an amazing experience with Heather as a photographer (and friend!). She was recommended by a good friend of ours at their wedding, and from there we asked Heather to take our engagement photos.
  
  Richard and I have never had our photos taken professionally outside of arranged school photos, and we couldn’t have had a more amazing, personable time with Heather. Driving to our shoot I remember being so nervous (will I be awkward? Will they look good?), but that all went away because Heather makes you feel so comfortable. She makes the experience so fun. From setting up the shoot to driving home, we knew we were in good hands. During the whole shoot she was filled with amazing ideas, guided us in our poses and was so encouraging - exactly what we were hoping for. We were thrilled with the quality of the photos we received.
  
  From then, we booked Heather to photograph our wedding. We had so many emotions that day, but one thing we didn’t have to worry about was our photo and video team. From the start to end of our day, Heather guided us through the process and took photos of our most important and intimate moments with family, friends and each other. We leaned on her through this process and rightfully so. We had ample sneak peaks and our photos were delivered exactly when expected. They were beautiful, timeless and we are so, SO thankful. If you’re looking for the photographer who will make you feel natural, beautiful and make you belly laugh throughout your experience, you’ve found one in Heather and Filled With Light Photography. We love you! Thank you for everything.

  Fantastic!

  Working with Heather was such a great experience through the entire process of our wedding. Leading up to the day she was insightful, resourceful and organized, always a pleasure to deal with.
  
  On the day of the wedding, she brought those same qualities but up a notch. During the day it can be hectic and overwhelming to think of all the special moments you want to capture - Heather was ON. IT! Knew how to give direction and take charge.
  
  In terms of the final photos, she really captured the magic of the day in a natural way, and also in a way that was our style. Whether we wanted more of an editorial look or just having fun, she didn't miss! Her photos tell a beautiful story of our day and I couldn't recommend her enough as a professional photographer (especially weddings!)

  Would recommend to any couple

  We worked with Heather (Filled With Light Photography) for both our engagement photos and wedding photos and we could not be happier with the result. Heather is very good at making everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera! She is incredibly organized and detail oriented; she helped me make a realistic timeline to achieve all of our wedding photography goals. On the wedding day we also worked with Bruce as a second shooter who had an incredibly positive energy and was great at keeping everything on track. Heather is great with communication and we had zoom calls and emails leading up to and after the wedding which helped keep me sane during the wedding planning process! I would recommend Heather to any couple for their wedding, you will get many compliments on your wedding photos!

  Absolutely Amazing!

  We worked with Heather for our engagement photos and for our wedding photos and the entire experience was amazing! Heather is great at making you feel comfortable in front of the camera and helps so much with posing to strike a great balance of posed and natural!
  On our wedding day, Heather was so positive and supportive and we had so much fun working with her! She helped keep everything on schedule and was overall a great companion to have with us all day!
  We got our photos back promptly and are over the moon with how they turned out!! We are going to cherish these photos forever and we are so happy that we worked with Filled With Light Photography for our wedding! We have printed literally every single photo they're just that good!

  Couldn't have asked for anybody better!

  Choosing a photographer for your wedding is arguably one of the most important decisions of wedding planning -- after all, these are memories that you would love to last a lifetime. We cannot be happier with our choice to work with Heather for both our engagement shoot and for our wedding. Heather is professional, kind, and an overall joy to work with. She is personable and is an absolute light to be around. She made us feel comfortable and special on our special day and this was reflected in the photos she delivered. We loved the variety of shots and that she was able to take so many candid shots of us and our guests. Heather was able to capture moments throughout the night -- I can't stop looking at our photos!! We loved that she sent us samples of our wedding photos so that we can share them with our loved ones but also gave us a polaroid photo of us that we can take that night. By the end of the night and throughout this process, it felt like Heather was part of our family who was there to celebrate with us.
  
  We loved working with Heather and if we could do it all over again, we would choose Heather again without a doubt.

  Spectacular

  Heather photographed our wedding and we couldn't have chosen a better person!
  
  She has an amazing ability to connect with people and make them feel comfortable in front of the camera. My partner and I had never been professionally photographed before and I wasn't sure it would feel natural, but with Heather it was so easy!
  
  She was flexible with our last minute timeline changes and was available to answer all of our questions, as well as provide advice.
  
  The photos are beyond our expectations. Natural and candid, but absolutely breathtakingly beautiful as if they're from a bridal magazine shoot.
  
  Look no further, you've found an amazing photographer!

  The best wedding photographer!

  Heather at Filled with Light was absolutely amazing to work with. I could not be happier that we booked her as our wedding photographer. From the first zoom call (yes, we had 2 prior to the big day which I loved!), Heather was extremely professional, personable and truly took the time to listen/hear to our vision. I was so impressed on how she was able to find the most perfect locations to match the style of photos we wanted to capture. We had so much fun with Heather all through the day and evening! The compliments have not stopped from friends and family who we have shared our albums with. 5 stars! Highly recommend!

Heather ensures that you are comfortable in front of the camera (which is saying a lot when you're a super, duper awkward person!). She even comes prepared with a mini speaker to play all the jams at your outdoors-at-7-in-the-morning-to-get-that-magical-glow-lighting photo sesh - that's dedication!

She has an eye for creative details and creates beautiful photos that are classic but also unique - she captures your "story" in a very authentic way.   I can’t recommend Heather enough! Our engagement pictures are incredible but our wedding photos - STUNNING. She absolutely exceeded our expectations and captured our day perfectly. She was so flexible, accommodating and understanding throughout the postponing process. And she is so kind, funny and a blast to work with. You will not regret hiring Filled with Light Photography!
