Just amazing!
Krystal is amazing! She made us feel so comfortable, like I’ve know her for years. We normally don’t like photos of ourselves so we were quite nervous coming into the photoshoot. Krystal made us feel at ease. Her website and emails were very detailed on what to bring, what to wear, what to expect. I appreciated that detail. The photos turned out so beautiful! More than I could imagine. I highly recommend Krystal for all your photoshoots. She is just the best! -

Surprise Proposal at Moraine Lake. Krystal is GOLD!
Writing from Singapore here!
I initiated correspondence with plenty of local photographers from around Banff but Krystal was my #1 top pick! She had great vibes (from her IG stories and our zoom calls), was extremely responsive and also a marvelous hand in advising on the surprise, time and place for the best views/feels of the lake. I listened and took on her evening suggestion with slight apprehension (I originally wanted sunrise, as would most haha) but that turned out to be the best thing I could have hoped for. The crowd was nowhere to be seen and we had the rockpiles and lake all to ourselves! And boy I must say, the lake just hits different when you are all alone with it.
With that, my fiancée and I had close to little inhibitions and we could be in our own elements. Mind you my fiancée has never spent an extended period of time in front of the lens but Krystal made her feel at ease and sparkle throughout the 2 hours. Krystal expertly orchestrated our photoshoot with a gentle hand to guide us in expressing ourselves.
Couldn't have asked for more from someone to capture me and my fiancée's love in those moments and then make it permanently ours for life. Thank you so much Krystal. You're not just a vendor you're our friend!Fly Free Photography's reply:

Fairytale Photographer
I booked a surprise trip to Banff for my boyfriend and I as his Christmas present. Little did I know, he planned a surprise proposal with Krystal at Fly Free Photography… and kept it a secret. Since we’ve never been to Banff, she gave us location recommendations and helped plan out our outfits, for what I thought was just a fun couples photoshoot. My fiancé proposed on a canoe at Moraine Lake Lodge and Krystal was able to capture every moment of it! The proposal and pictures were an absolute fairytale. The pictures look like we were in a scene from the Notebook! Krystal kept us laughing and smiling the entire time. I was nervous about not knowing how to pose for a photo shoot… don’t worry… she took care of all the poses! I would highly recommend Krystal! Thank you for such a wonderful experience and fairytale pictures! -

Krystal was absolutely amazing in all aspects. Not only as a skilled photographer but also on a personal level, willing to do anything for the perfect experience. No matter how complicated, Krystal facilitates a stress free and smooth process through her expertise and know how. She helped plan the perfect surprise proposal for my fiancée in the middle of Moraine Lake and dare I say I think she was more excited than I was. And the final product....wow. If you are looking for more than just a photoshoot but a core memory, Krystal and Fly Free Photography check all the boxes. I couldn't thank her enough and would highly recommend her. -

The entire experience with Krystal and her team from start to finish has been nothing short of incredible. Krystal knows what she's doing. Her down to earth demeanor with her artistic eye for what looks good (and what doesn't) helped us throughout our wedding day. We knew we liked her from the first Zoom meeting we had with her! Planning a destination wedding can be such a challenge- and while the day wasn't without its stresses, Krystal and Mike (our videographer) were the reason we could hold it all together. They lobbied for us, stood up for us, and even took care of us. I don't have words for how thankful my husband and I are that we came across Krystal and that she was available. Krystal has peppered in little surprises for us to make reliving the day so fun and exciting. She has truly thought of everything so that our experience goes beyond just the one day (our wedding day.) Her communication is A+. Her team members are top notch (Mike is AMAZING.) We loved working with her behind-the-scenes coordinator, Ty. It wasn't just about the quality of work she provided- it was her demeanor, her humor, and her friendship. I cannot stress enough that if you do not yet have a photographer for your day- you are making the wrong decision by not going with Krystal and her all-star team. I know how hard it is to scour through all the reviews across vendor profiles to try and make the right decision, but trust me. This is the right decision. Choose Fly Free Photography. -

Krystal was referred to us by one of our friends. We are so grateful that our paths crossed. From the beginning she took time to get to know us and understand our wedding vision. Krystal and her team really went the extra mile for us, showing up early to scope out the perfect area and pack down the snow to make it easier on everyone. They made the effort to include our dog into our big day. They gave us great direction and made us feel comfortable. We absolutely love our sneak peak pictures and we're so excited to see the whole gallery! They truly care about making your experience memorable.
