Gabrielle Ascot Images is a professional wedding photographer based out of Marmora, Ontario. Being a wedding photographer can be fun but can be emotional. To get good content, you have to let yourself feel it all. Fall in love with the love story and make sure that all of it comes through in the images. Capturing the moments, the couple misses to see because they are too wrapped up in each other or the process of the day.
Services Offered
Sneaking candids of elderly families and other couples that are overcome with love in the room as they sneak quick kisses, cuddles and looks that speak a thousand words. Love is infectious. As the one enlisted to save it all, I let the infection seep into every image. The winks, kisses, hands held, whispers, nudges, smirks, and tears all bind and seal the day in our minds and hearts. I simply collect it all so that there is a beautiful visual reminder.

Privacy was Key!
Gabrielle was very thorough with her consultation the week before our wedding. She put us at complete peace of mind when she walked through the itinerary with us and advised what would need more or less time to accomplish. My husband really liked that she recommended a snack and drink cooler for after the ceremony when we did family photos. Her commitment to detail and making us enjoy the day was stellar!
On our wedding day she was amazing and stepped in to bustle my dress, sew a small tear in a bridesmaid dress, and fix a bouquet that was coming apart.
I learned afterwards that she also tied all the guys ties and folded their pocket squares too!
Two days after the wedding we got 30 pictures in our gallery as sneak peaks, and we were so happy! We were able to send out our thank you cards right away.
The biggest thing I was really impressed with was her Private Gallery options. My husband and I both work in fields where our personal lives require privacy for our own safety. When we explained that our images couldn't be shared on any platforms or websites, Gabrielle understood and obliged. She also went above and beyond by providing us an unlisted gallery link which was password protected.
We look forward to booking family photos with her soon, as our family grows!

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
With the nick-name "Gabby", it is easy to decipher that I am a chatterbox.
Communication is my strong suit, and part of the reason many clients pick me. I take the guess work out of things for you. I am direct and often explain why I need things a certain way. Whether it be lighting, flattering poses, telling you that you have something in your teeth, or slipping in the odd joke to get a genuine laugh out of you....I'm here delivering it!
I am a fairly hyper person and I try to channel that energy into this business.
I can be found bouncing around from position to position. I am often thigh-deep in a creek/river/lake to get the best shots, and have been known to scale the occasional building or tree to get to a "good spot". I adore playing with light and telling clients to "bring a drink", "cuddle in", and "just take it easy".
I do all of this so that YOU can just engage with your loved ones in the photos.
I do this so you can make memories, while I capture the moments.

Life is far too short to be uncomfortable, bland and docile.
When it is done, ensure that you've left more then just pretty pictures.
