  Halloween Wedding

  Grindstone Productions did all the photography for our wedding. They were amazing! at no time did I have to worry about them as a vendor. They were friendly, puntual, easy to work with, and always responded in a timely manner. Having a wedding there is always alot going on, Chris and his team was involved and present in the wedding that they were able to get the shots that we never even thought of *which has became out favorites*

  Grindstone Productions did all the photography for our wedding. They were amazing! at no time did I have to worry about them as a vendor. They were friendly, puntual, easy to work with, and always responded in a timely manner. Having a wedding there is always alot going on, Chris and his team was involved and present in the wedding that they were able to get the shots that we never even thought of *which has became out favorites*

  Amazing team!

  We just got married this passed weekend and we used Grindstone Productions for two vendors. We used them for our photography services as well as our DJ services. To say that we were thrilled when we knew we could kill two birds with one stone is an understatement. Chris who is the owner of the company was wonderful to deal with. He explained how everything worked and how simple and easy it would be for our guests to receive their photos without having to wait for us to get them all back.   We just got married this passed weekend and we used Grindstone Productions for two vendors. We used them for our photography services as well as our DJ services. To say that we were thrilled when we knew we could kill two birds with one stone is an understatement. Chris who is the owner of the company was wonderful to deal with. He explained how everything worked and how simple and easy it would be for our guests to receive their photos without having to wait for us to get them all back. The way he explained it to us was that their photography services are like a mobile photobooth, which it pretty much was. All our guests were able to get any photo they appeared in that evening which was a huge selling factor for us.
  
  Our photographer for the whole event was Jim. He was absolutely wonderful. Very friendly, very professional and super fun to work with. I had sent a list of must get photos to Chris and he warned that they may not be able to capture them all (which I knew could be a possibility) but Jim made sure that we got all of them. I 100% recommend Chris and his team for photos. There was a possibility that Chris wasn't going to be able to make it to our event but the day of the event Jim informed me that Chris was going to be there to assist with pictures of the ceremony which we were super happy about and were glad that he was able to make it.
  
  Our DJ was Curtis. He was also very friendly and great to work with. The music we had requested that must be played was all played.
  
  Thank you Chris and your team! We will 100% use your services for any future events.

  Hire them!!

  We used grindstone DJ services for of wedding and we still have guest raving about how much fun they had!! The dance floor was packed until the very end. Neil read our room extremely well. We had a range of music and never a dull moment. From pleasing the east coast family members to the slow songs for the older crowd to the music played only when grandma leaves.. it was a party the entire time! Highly highly recommend!!

  Good outcome Overall

  We had our wedding in August.
  Planning the wedding was great from Grindstone as they were friendly, accomodating and open to any requests we may have had.
  
  However, here is the thing regarding their photography:
  -the photographer that showed up on the day was wearing washed out light colored jeans with a black longsleeve t-shirt with the company logo; and white tennis shoes. Not what you would like nor expect to see on your special day I have to say. Not professional at all.
  -most pictures had a ‘tilt up’ tendency, which annoyed me the most as literally some peoples shoes, my veil, from our torso down was cropped off while so much sky/ceiling was on... Read more

  However, here is the thing regarding their photography:

  -most pictures had a ‘tilt up’ tendency, which annoyed me the most as literally some peoples shoes, my veil, from our torso down was cropped off while so much sky/ceiling was on every picture. I have no idea why.
  -photographer had little to no ideas on creative posing ideas, so do make sure you have plenty in mind as he did not guide us much nor orchastrated the family pictures. Not many close ups if any, not even a single picture of my bouquet. Not your typical instagram beautiful pictures you may have in mind that only a photographer could take. Most of them looked like they could have been taken on an iPhone.
  
  
  That being said, I expressed my dissappointment to Christopher, our main contact. He was so supportive and understanding he went out of his way to fix what he could to make it right.
  
  It really stands out on how he tried his best so we can all away happy and satisfied with their services. You can never have that moment back of course, but at least some of that bitter feeling is somewhat gone.
  
  Hope this review helps us all, service provider and customer, to learn to set clear expectations and a decent delivery on behalf of the company.

  Great experience

  We had a great experience with Grindstone Productions. We had many people approach us and tell us that our DJ, Neill, was doing a fantastic job. We incorporated all of our must plays and the vibes all night were perfect. We found Chris to be incredibly responsive and organized.

  Great experience!

  No complaints at all! We used grindstone for our photography and DJ for our wedding. The photographer took awesome photos and offered pose suggestions. The DJ played great music and took requests. Thank you!

  Grindstone experience

  The grindstone team were incredible! We had tendai as our DJ and he was amazing, he could really read the room and knew exactly what all our guests would dance to all night long. And Chris and Joaquin were our photographers and they captured all the memorable moments and really showed how fun we all had! They are memories we will cherish forever!

  The Best in the Biz!

  Chris and his team were great to work with for our wedding! They were easy to communicate with and are true professionals. Our DJ, Neill, was on it with the timing of each ceremony song and did a great job keeping the dance floor full for the reception (we've had many guests comment on how good he was). He was kind and went out of his way to check with us when songs from our don’t playlist had been requested.
  
  I also really appreciated having the music planner document and access to a Google drive to hear the songs/edits ahead of time.

  Great DJ and Photobooth for Great Price

  Working with Chris has been great. Chris is the manager of Grindstone Productions. He was always accommodating and was always considerate in Pricing.
  I would use him again and recommend him to people. The DJ (Luke) for our reception kept everyone dancing all night, and Lawrence for the photobooth was so much! The photobooth was always lined up!
  I wish our ceremony went a little more smooth, but with any wedding some hiccups are to be expected.

Chris plays as a middle man and I felt there may be a slight disconnect because of that, and to maybe see if the DJ fkr the ceremony can come out a little sooner and sounds check the system maybe a little more thoroughly as sometimes unexpected hiccups may occur.
  All in all, Chris always was professional, he was pretty accommodating with setting up phone call appointments, and never got annoyed with all the questions I consistently asked him throughout my engagement.
  I really enjoyed using their service and i felt the quality of service and really good and the price for everything was affordable (especially in the economy currently!)

  Grindstone for Wedding Bliss!

  Chris and the team at Grindstone provided DJ and Photographic services for my son’s wedding last week and they were amazing. From the selection of the first dance to the photo download, they were a pleasure to work with.
