Very very poor business-sense individual and atrocious customer service. We booked him for our wedding and then COVID hit. ALL our other vendors provided refunds except for him. Absolutely zero understanding and empathy when it came to the COVID situation and acting in his own self-interest and is not interested in talking about a refund. His non-refundable deposit is firm without even picking up the phone to talk to you and do business. Doesnt answer emails till 2 weeks, phone doesn't even ring, doesnt check voicemails. Did not even have courage to phone me and speak to me regarding the refund issue. He is very unorganized in this manner and one can only hope he is a better photographer than a manager/business owner. He'll take your 25% deposit ($400 I paid) and state that he earned this even though he barely got around to sending a few emails. If you try to ask for it back, you'll be met with a stone wall and the ol "its non-refundable" speech. He will not take context into consideration and even entertain the idea that he should make an exception to his own rules. That's just bad business sense. It's his way or the highway. Definitely DO NOT recommend going with him due to his lack of communication skills and customer service. He MAY do good photography but is a gamble if you can get past the initial phases of booking/communication.

Hi Kyle! This is an attempt to get a hold of you since I am not sure how. I understand you are having problems with email and instagram at the moment and your facebook page has been removed. We got our wedding photos in the mail yesterday and they are amazing! You were also so easy to work with on our wedding day, and organized everyone wonderfully. I'm trying to get a hold of you though, because we are missing some of the most important pictures from our wedding day. All those taken with my 4 sets of grandparents are not included on the USB as well as the family photos taken with my husband's family (parents, 3 sisters and their kids). Kyle was very professional and showed up a half our early to the venue to get settled and get started. He was fun, friendly and had some great ideas for photos! I would definitely recommend working with Kyle Harriss for your wedding- he is also willing to travel to other locations other then Huntsville. Definitely worth it and we got our teaser pictures less then 24 hours later!

Kyle shot our wedding this past August in Muskoka. He was prompt, professional and most importantly is SUPER talented. An absolute dream to work with. We couldn't recommend him more highly. The photos we've received thus far are dreamier than I ever thought possible, and he did such a great job capturing the magic and lightness of our special day. 10/10.

"My wife Cecilia and I were married this past fall and chose Harriss Photography as our vendor for that purpose. Kyle was diligent in nailing down the details with us before the big day. We had special requests for some night pictures and some long exposure effects and Kyle was not deterred at all. He informed us it would be somewhat new territory for him but that as long as we were patient, he could do it. So he did the research, and executed the shots perfectly. Kyle and his wife Brittany arrived promptly on the day of the wedding at the pre-determined locations. They spent time getting all the candid shots each wedding day should have and were also open to new ideas. We had fun getting ready with these guys around. They both have a great sense of humor while maintaining their professionalism. Despite some seriously cold wind, which I don't think Harriss Photography complained about one bit (and would have been the only ones not to), we got all the shots we wanted and Kyle's editing beautifully rendered each photo to have the appearance of being taken on a nice day!

These two were also great at the reception, filling downtime with candid shots of guests while still hitting all the benchmark moments. The patience that ANY photographer at a wedding must display is impressive but Kyle and Brittany went above and beyond. People were getting silly and rambunctious and they remained professional at all times. We were actually sad to see them go at the end of it all as they had become our friends and fun guests to have at our wedding. If you are thinking of booking ANY shoots with Kyle I would like to formally encourage it. My only advice is that you do it soon before he figures out how good he is and puts his prices up (because they are currently VERY fairly priced for what we received as a finished product.

I found Kyle on a Facebook post as I was looking for photographers that were reasonably priced in the Huntsville area and he and Brittany were truly a God sent! The first time meeting Kyle was at our engagement shoot and he was awesome, he made us feel so comfortable (even though it was freezing outside haha!). We finally met Brittany at our wedding where they were working together and they were amazing! The best team in town, he is great with the camera and she has so many amazing ideas for poses and such! They really did capture our day in the best way while making us feel so comfortable and relaxed like we've known them for years!! Very highly recommended!

Kyle and Brittany did an incredible job shooting our wedding beginning of April. There professionalism, talent and artistic point of view is truly special. After that, Kyle and Brittany came to the wedding to capture the most amazing day of our lives... all I can say about this is...AMAZING! We had so much fun with them! The were able to capture our day amazingly without us hardly noticing they were there! Brittany and Kyle work so well together, they are seamless! I love the way Kyle edited our photos and we recieved them within a reasonable time frame after our wedding.
