Niki did such a stunning job with both my engagement and wedding photos.
Our first engagement session ended early due to rain, and when I told her I was worried the pictures we'd already taken would end up too dark, she said, "I work with light, not dark-- don't worry about it." Very cool thing to say, and also very true, it's like we'd taken the pictures in the middle of a slightly cloudy day and not in the evening right before a thunderstorm.
She knows a number of places in London to take you for some very unique pictures, no matter the aesthetic you're going for, and gives excellent direction for poses while also getting a good number of candids.
She's also great at handling family and guests-- she was so efficient about getting us through the after ceremony photos and very accommodating about making sure we got all the pictures we wanted. She found literally all the nicest spots at our wedding venue to get pictures, too.
Working with her has been a pleasure throughout; she's been thorough, professional, and responsive. She's also just really nice!
Finally, her editing style is very natural, which is exactly what I was looking for-- to make the colours of the day speak for themselves. There's a great balance between creative and traditional compositions.
Ten stars, would absolutely go back to HRM the next time I need a photographer for a big event!! -

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. This photographer is the best I have ever encountered. She recently did the engagement and wedding photos for my son's wedding in London Ontario. Many of the guests told us later that they had never seen a better photographer; everyone appreciated her skills. Not only were her pictures absolutely great, her professional manner, time management and creativity were stellar. She moved everyone through the family shots post-wedding in an efficient, yet completely personal way. She had a few surprise guests to take pictures of, but graciously recalibrated her list and took beautiful pictures. We did not feel rushed or that we were inconveniencing her by changing the picture plan last minute. We also greatly appreciated her directions on how and where to stand. We have no idea what would look best, and she clearly did. It made for much better pictures. We also all commented on her ability to give direction in a no-nonsense way, but still be very polite and respectful.
I had worried about small things like height differences in the wedding party, she nailed the pictures, everyone looks great. She also took wonderful candid shots of the day and many shots of the other guests. She is truly skilled as a photographer in taking pictures, both the art aspect and the personality aspect. I hope we can use her again. -

Fantastic team at HRM Photography!
I highly recommend HRM Photography! They were such a joy to deal with from start to finish. They were such pros on the day of the wedding with coordinating our bridal party and families for all the photos we wanted. Their creativity is truly amazing. Our photos are beautiful, unique, and I know I will be showing them off for years to come. -

No words can describe how happy we are with the HRM team. Considering we got married during Covid and had so many constant changes to regulations, Heather went above and beyond being our photographer, she was a constant support and was ready for anything. Would recommend HRM 100000000 times over! -

Amazing Experience with HRM
There are not enough words to describe how incredible HRM Photography is. We were fortunate enough to have both Heather and Nikki photograph our wedding. They were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond for us. We had to postpone and change our date 3 times due to COVID, and Heather was extremely accommodating and constantly kept in touch to support us, as well as to help us navigate through the various changes and restrictions. She was so much more than a photographer. Leading up to the wedding, she helped create a checklist of things we needed, a timeline for the day, went over what to expect, etc. Not only are these two incredibly talented with the photos they take, they were prepared for everything that came up that day (from tide to go for stains, to a fan for the heat). We received several photos within hours of the wedding, and sneak peaks within a few days. We could not be happier with the photos we received. Do yourself a favour and contact Heather for your photography needs. You will not only get incredible photos, but you will get their expertise and knowledge on all things wedding. Heather’s team (Lindsay and Jordan) were an absolute pleasure to work with! The shots they took were detailed, artistic and captured the feeling of our day so beautifully. Heather is very responsive and the level of detail requested to ensure our day went smoothly prior to was executed expertly. We were especially impressed when the team made a concession to accommodate the guys in a different location as a result of a logistical issue just a few days before the wedding. Lindsay and Jordan ensured we had every shot on our list and then some covered. They have a very artistic eye and were with us without being obtrusive. We would 100% recommend this team without a doubt and hope to work with them again in the future. -
