Based out of Belleville, Ontario, Image Plus Photography offers professional wedding, engagement, and portrait photography. Owner Robert Blair specializes in creating images for his clients that are fresh and natural. He aims to provide photos that are a mix of candid, photojournalism, and traditional portraiture styles. He strives to accurately capture the raw emotions, beauty and excitement of special occassions.

Experience

Robert had an interest and passion in photography from a very early age. He began by taking pictures of friends and family with his first Kodak camera. He then moved on to photographing his high school’s clubs and his classmates. Robert eventually completed a technical and commercial training program at the New York Institute of Photography for wedding/portrait photography.

Robert began working as a wedding photographer's assistant in 2002 and gained a strong foundation of “people photography” from gaining experience at more than 50 photoshoots. Over the years, Robert has continued to enhance his skills by continuing his education and learning from other professional photographers.

Services offered

Image Plus Photography covers up to 2 events per day, ensuring full attention and top-quality services to all couples. Couples can choose from the 4 different wedding photography packages. All packages are flexible and include the following:

• Sneak peaks posted within three days of wedding day (Facebook)
• Engagement photo session
• All photos colour corrected, post processed for maximum quality
• Assistant to the photographer (if required)
• Second photographer
• All digital negatives with print release
• DVD slideshow with music of your wedding photos
• Professional re-touching
• Lifetime archival of all photos

Additional items available include high-resolution images, custom graphics, albums, thank you cards, save the dates, prints, proofs, and negatives. Trash the dress photography is also offered. The studio is covered by liability insurance.

How he works

Robert uses professional Canon equipment and always carries backup cameras, tons of batteries, and a load of memory cards. With digital technology, he is able to provide couples with more images and styles. He does simple editing like cropping, colour enhancement, converting colour photos to black and white and creating special effects after the event.
