He took the time to get to know us, which was reflected in the end product (including a super fun Mario Kart inspired photo with our bridal party). My wife and I hired Gus to be the day-of photographer for our wedding in August 2019. He showed up early and was already snapping candid photos and framing shots before we even arrived. Some of my friends and family dread getting their pictures taken but Gus made them feel relaxed and heard. He was comfortable guiding my wife and I for loving close ups or wrangling a forty-person group shot indoors. The results were an event worth of photographs that captured all of our memories beautifully! Gus is creative, professional and fun - and his price fit our budget which we were very happy about. Booking Gus from Jack Photography for our engagement and wedding photos was one of the best planning decisions we made leading up to our wedding. He was honest, extremely flexible, easy to work with and a lot of fun. He lists his prices and packages right on his website which I really appreciated, and his pricing was VERY competitive. I was happy paying what he asked and having seen how great he was to work with, would have been happy to pay even more.

I was worried that our pictures would be stuffy and awkward and he made it everything but that! Even our bridal party and parents have commented to us about how great he was to work with.

I am a major type A personality and had sent him a list of photos I wanted to try and capture (70+ poses I found on Pinterest... yes I got sucked in!) and Gus printed them all off and made sure we got all the ones we possibly could. During the event, he was fantastic at catching candid moments and would hold his camera up above his head and just snap away to make sure he got everything.

Since our wedding, I have already recommended Gus and I would highly recommend that you consider him for any photography needs you may have. I certainly know that we will be reaching out to him for any events we may have down the road and be using him again.
