About
Hi there, I'm Jessica Lindsay-Sonkin, an outdoor loving-photographer who photographed nature-loving people from 2013 to 2024. I loved exploring with couples, learning their stories, and capturing authentic images of them in gorgeous surroundings. I am no longer taking bookings beyond 2024.
In your search for a wedding photographer for your outdoor wedding, consider the following:
- Prioritize yourselves! The day goes by quickly so it is especially important to make sure that there is time dedicated to each other.
- Ensure yoru photographs show off your gorgeous outdoor location! Look for a photographer who includes a combination of wide landscapes and tight, intimate crops.
- Embrace the weather! It is impossible to predict what the weather will be like the day of your celebration. Have a backup plan, but more importantly, embrace whatever is given to you! Some of my favourite photographs are of couples enjoying the experience, no matter what is happening around them.
All the best with your planning!

I love describing weddings as a collection of a couple's favourite things and there is so much emotion embedded in all elements of the day. I love seeking out moments throughout the day. Guests describe me as a ninja, which is the ultimate compliment. I want to always be present capturing moments as they unfold, but not intruding on them. I want my couples to feel excitement and also peaceful during our photo session. Taking a moment to breathe and explore the beautiful spot they chose to say their vows. As with all adventures, photographs are important, but living in the moment is moreso. I work hard to ensure that my couples receive a balance of both.
