  Amazing Photographer!

  Jamie is an an amazing, talented photographer. And just as important, she is genuinely delightful to be around. We hired Jamie to be our wedding photographer and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Firstly, Jamie made an amazing first impression on us. She’s extremely attentive and detail oriented. When we first met for our engagement photos, we were a bit nervous but these feelings immediately faded as Jamie made us feel comfortable and really took the lead in showing us how to post the photos. Our engagement photos turned out beautiful and this gave us so much confidence heading into our wedding day. On the wedding day, Jamie was very friendly and professional. She took the time to learn the names of our wedding party and family members which is just one example of Jamie going above and beyond. We thought Jamie was extremely professional and organized and we had many of our guests rave to us about her as well. After the wedding, we quickly received a sneak peek of our photos and then we received our complete photo gallery two weeks after the wedding – such a quick turnaround! We could not be happier with how they turned out. There are so many beautiful shots, it’s hard to pick our favourite ones. Overall, we highly recommend hiring Jamie as your photographer - she truly made our day feel so special and we are extremely grateful. Thank you, Jamie!!

  The best photographer!

  Jamie was everything we could have asked for in a photographer and more! She was not only super professional and knew exactly what she was doing, but felt like a good friend throughout our wedding day! When we got engaged, we had come across some of Jamie's work, and thought she took such beautiful and natural pictures. We were so lucky to find out that she was available for our day. We didn't want to look too posed, and Jamie knew exactly how to bring out our personalities in the pictures.
  Aside from the incredible engagement and wedding pictures, Jamie is such an incredible person. She's so kind and sweet, and helped us feel at ease, especially after having to postpone our wedding super last minute. We HIGHLY recommend her. She is extremely well-organized and we knew right away that we didn't have anything to worry about with her. She was our best investment for our wedding day, and we are already looking forward to contacting her for photos in the future!

  We are still swooning over our photos!

  Jamie was the first vendor that we secured (aside from our wedding planner) and we are so glad we did that! From the first time we met Jamie, we felt an instant connection with her. She took the time to ask about every detail of our relationship, and made us feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. My husband and I have never had our photos professionally taken before, so we were quite nervous and awkward to say the least. But Jamie gave really good and easy instructions, and captured us in the most candid way possible. Both our engagement and wedding photos turned out amazing and we just can't stop looking at them!

  Couldn't be happier!

  Jamie is an amazingly talented photographer! Neither my husband and I had ever posed for professional photographs before and I was worried it would come out looking awkward or staged. Our engagement and wedding pictures were not only beautiful but also looked natural and effortless. My friends who have been married already told me I was lucky if I got 4-5 photos I really loved from the day, with Jamie I loved almost every single photo she took! Our venue was not the easiest to shoot in winter as it got dark before the reception started with not a lot of light inside but you can't tell at all from the photos Jamie took. Jamie was also very responsive in communicating (I lived in a different city where the wedding was being held) prior to the engagement and wedding photo sessions. I also really appreciated how she listened to my input on where I wanted the photos taken for the engagement and wedding shoot while also giving her own recommendations and ideas. In person, Jamie has such a warm, easy going personality we immediately felt at ease with her. I am so happy we hired her and have all these beautiful photos to cherish for a lifetime!

  Best Photographer!!

When we first met for our engagement photos, Ian and I felt awkward and didn't really know what to expect. Jamie made us feel comfortable and all of our awkwardness/worries went away within minutes of working with her. Our engagement photos turned out beautiful and I knew I could expect the same for our wedding photos. Today, 4 days after our wedding.. we received a bunch of "sneak peek" photos!! (So fast!!)   Great investment!

  My husband and I are both quite awkward around a camera and never end up getting good pictures together, we were worried are wedding photography would be no different. We thought there was no way we would feel comfortable around a camera. We hired Jamie for some engagement photos to see what they would look like and were immediately put at ease, it felt like we were waking with a friend and taking photos, not a stranger we just met! It was an obvious choice to have her at our wedding too. From our first email to, receiving our engagement photos and then our wedding photos, Jamie was incredibly genuine and professional. Jamie is prompt a corespondent and a great resource during the planning process. She tweaked our timeline for us, somehow managed to keep everyone on schedule for photos and got all the shots I dreamed of! All of our guests commented on what a pleasure our photographer was and were equally thrilled to see our photos. Jamie Delaine was the right pick for us because she made our wedding easier and somehow alleviated stress for us. We felt she really cared about us as clients and capturing our special day. To some who is unsure about hiring Jamie, I would say. This was the best investment at our wedding. While wedding photography is Jamie’a job, you can tell it is also her passion.

  When we started thinking of a photographer for our wedding, we wanted someone that would be able to capture the emotions that we would be experiencing on our big day. We wanted our photos to be a taste of what our day was like, and that whenever we looked at them in the future we could remember everything that we felt and how happy we were at that moment. We had researched several photographers online before we found Jamie. The photos she had on her website were exactly what we were looking for. After talking to her, we knew she was the perfect choice.
  
  Jamie is sweet, caring and thoughtful and she gives her business a special touch that made us feel special. My husband and I were worried that we wouldn't be able to look natural for the pictures.
