Jason stuck with us for a 23 month engagement (thanks COVID) and was always really quick to respond to emails, questions and postponements. he stuck to his word/contract which meant a lot to us after having many vendors try to upcharge us for needing to postpone due to a global pandemic beyond our control. Jason and Franklin took absolutely STUNNING photos that are loved by many of our friends and family. The photos are beautifully edited - not too bright and airy, not too dark - just perfect and timeless edits. He sent us HUNDREDS of photos within a couple of weeks of our wedding, and he and Franklin took some really unique shots and had creative ideas. We love the photos he took. During our engagement session and wedding, Jason and Franklin were both very laid back, professional, attentive, and kept themselves busy even when we were dealing with other vendors/our guests. they didn't need any direction and it felt easy to be ourselves around them even though we are both a bit awkward and camera shy. It is also worth mentioning that Jason and Franklin managed to get gorgeous shots of our MASSIVE wedding party, most of which were drunk and probably difficult to order around, but they did a great job including everyone and making sure we all looked great. I would recommend Jason Gunter to anyone that wants timeless, beautiful photos for their wedding or other experiences. I will 100% be using Jason Gunter Photography again someday! Thank you Jason!

Jay was amazing to work with! We used him for both our engagement and wedding photos. He was professional but also relaxed, easy-going and fun. Getting photos taken can feel awkward (at least for me) but he made us feel comfortable and we had a great time during the process. He shared his ideas with us for the photos he wanted and we gave him our complete trust that they were going to turn out beautifully.

The engagement photos were great themselves but our wedding photos were jaw-dropping. We still can't stop looking at them. All of our family and friends have commented on how beautifully our photos turned out. Jay's prices are totally reasonable considering the high quality and amount of photos you get back. Jay is an outstanding photographer to work with! He takes the time to get to know the couple, what their style is, and their vision for their pictures on their wedding day. He is so easy to work with and is very personable! He makes you feel very comfortable, even for a couple like us who don't have much experience being captured behind the camera.
