People say that you should choose your wedding photographers carefully, because photos are the only tangible thing you will keep from the day. Having been through the experience, we are so glad that we chose Jay. We will enjoy looking back at our images for many years!

Selecting a photographer is pretty daunting with the number of online blogs and websites to go through. What stood out for us about Jay was his ability to handle almost any lighting condition. Jay really is the master of light! Both our ceremony and reception were held in a beautiful Toronto restaurant, where lighting was dark and intimate. Looking at our photos, he really captured the feel of the room, but you can see everything that's going on.

Jay was responsive and professional by email. He was very unobtrusive during the ceremony and reception. He felt like part of the gang during the wedding party photos and portraits. He was very casual in style and was very receptive to feedback or ideas. We created a Pinterest board together to show him the pictures we'd like to have and he was very accommodating in capturing all the shots we wanted.

I was considering several other photographers to hire for our wedding based on their Weddingwire reviews and photographs from their sites but none of them "moved" me the way Jay did. I sent his link to fiancée and a couple of friends and they felt the same so we hired him and never regretted doing so.

He is professional, creative, and passionate and really is an excellent artist. He truly knows his stuff. He understood that engaging our guests was very important to us and made sure that everyone of our 40 guests was included in a photo or two. After seeing his breathtakingly beautiful photos on his website, I HAD to have him for both my engagement and wedding photos.

First off, I have to comment on how awesome it is to have someone make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. My husband doesn't like to have his picture taken, but having Jay around guiding us on how/what to do for beautiful photos truly helped. He is very energetic, fun, and professional.

Next, it is imperative to comment on the way Jay handles his sessions. He is not afraid to get down in the dirt/grass/etc. for that perfect shot, all while making sure his clients are happy and comfortable with their surroundings.

After our engagement shoot, we couldn't be more excited to have him back for our wedding. He stayed with us the whole day (at an unbeatable price) capturing EVERY single little detail. This was so important to me because I stayed so busy running from guest to guest that I didn't have the time to sit back and enjoy all the little details I had worked so hard on putting together. His attitude was so positive! He was a trooper thorough the 12 hours we had him working.

Lastly, and more importantly: the final product. His photos are ART. He truly has an eye like no one else. He takes the time to get to know the individual/couple and captures the essence of them. He genuinely listens to wants and needs of his clients. He sincerely wants to make every individual ecstatic with their photos. He gives something that is priceless: capturing images that are worth just as much as the moments themselves. This is something that you can enjoy and cherish for years to come.

Jay is by far the BEST photographer around! We used Jay for our wedding and could not have been any happier with everything we received. He is genuine and cares very much about what he does and who he does it for. You can get an amazing photographer but there are so many other factors that come into play, especially on the day of the wedding.

ENERGY. You will NEVER find anyone with such an awesome energy and vibe as Jay. Throughout the wedding day, he was so efficient on timing but also in such a great mood! This set the standard for everyone else! Our entire bridal party, our families, friends and guests all loved how friendly and energetic Jay was. Even our linens vendor pointed out to me after the wedding that he loved Jay's personality. He "wanted to be on whatever energy drink he was having!" The kicker was that's just how Jay is!

Bottom line, when it comes to photography, once a moment is gone, it's gone. There is no getting it back. It's not like video where you can see everything and re edit the film. Throughout the day and evening, Jay was able to capture so many memorable moments and at the same time, direct us for the great posed pictures which all came so naturally.

I chose Jay as my wedding photographer. I saw his work online and decided to contact him. During our first meeting with Jay, My finance and I like him a lot. He is very easy-going and he took his time to explain his work and the style he photograph.

On the day of the wedding, he was AWESOME. He was very patient and easy to work with. During the reception, I didn't even realize he was already there. He was able to capture shots without getting in my way.
