Hi! I'm Jon-Mark, and I'm the owner of Jon-Mark Photography, a wedding portrait company in Victoria, British Columbia.

I love moments of laughter and joy between my couples and the people that matter most to them. When you're working with me I want you to know that you're in good hands with someone who has captured more than 250 weddings in 8 different countries but that I still keep things light and fun. I make sure to give you all the direction and encouragement you need while we're shooting, no stiff posed photos or awkward silences wondering if you're doing the right thing!

My style is more contemporary, and while I always include the classic portraits and 'smile for grandma' photos as well, the vast majority of my images are fun, lighthearted and filled with movement and laughter. I love what I call 'little people big world' images that showcase the landscape we are in and fuse my love of landscape photography and the outdoors, as well as more artistic and abstract images and lighting, but I also make sure to get in tight for those playful smiles and intimate moments.

I believe that it's just as important to love being around your photographer as it is to love the images they create. When you're genuinely relaxed and having fun it shows in your photos, and that's how I want you to remember your wedding. I take the time to get to know my couples and make sure we are a great fit together so that by the end of your wedding, you feel like I was another friend that you brought along for the party.
