We get to know Roy as he was recommended by our videographers. Roy was very patient to answer all our questions in a timely manner and give us great suggestions even before we decided to book with him. He took engagement photos for us during the Cherry Blossom season. Despite the weather wasn't that great on that day, the photos he took for us turns out great! Roy knows exactly how to find the best angle and he is so professional and tells us how to pose for picture to show our best looks!! He even made a short video for our engagement shoot, so sweet! Before our wedding day, he spend time and came to the venue with us and helped us to decide where to have our first look, how to arrange our decoration, where is the best spot to put our signing table etc. On the wedding day, he is on time and prepared! He is very detailed and capture every pretty thing during our wedding. I love all my wedding photos he took for us. After the wedding, he gave us lots of picture within a week and Roy said these are just preview. LOL. I cannot wait to see more pictures! Overall, we are so happy to have Roy to take both our engagement photos and wedding day photos, best decision I've made for my wedding! I will definitely recommend Roy to all my friends. I am sure if I want to take my future maternity picture or family picture, I will not hesitate and I will choose Roy again!

Working with Roy was a delight. We had reached out very early to secure our date and were so happy with the entire process. He met with us virtually and was able to reassure us of any questions we had. He also gave us time to review the contract and was very professional about the process. More importantly on the day of our wedding he was so patient with us and our families. He took absolutely stunning photos (of course) and were as magical as I had dreamed. Although it ended up raining, which we had not planned, my favorite photos were from being out in the rain - and yes! He got out in the rain and got wet to take our beautiful photos. What was the best thing for us was that he helped us get over our awkwardness. It felt more like a friend was there to take pictures of the day and made us feel very comfortable (both my husband and I are camera shy). After the wedding, the pictures came really quick and were of course stunning. If you fall in love with Roy's work like I did, you will not be disappointed.

Roy played the most crucial role in capturing what happened at our wedding with his professional snapshots. Nobody could see the beautiful, elegant and colourful results on the papers without him.

He has a unique eye for the details and brings our wedding ceremony and the cocktail reception to life. He is intuitive enough to know how to communicate with everyone to get the best photography results.

In terms of private communication before and after booking Roy’s services, he was always very responsive and approachable. His lovely personality and talent are the key components attracting us to book him. On top of that, his language skills in Cantonese and Mandarin are definitely a plus, as my side of the family requires more communication in the Asian language.

Overall, we’d love to hire him again for our future events. It’s absolutely a pleasant experience working with Roy.

Roy was such a great photographer! My husband is not a fan of taking pictures and I can't say I'm a natural either but Roy was super helpful in making us feel comfortable. He was really motivated in finding the best locations with the perfect lighting and really thoughtful with where we went (especially 'cause I had heels). On our wedding day, there was a storm but he braved through the rain and wind to take such clear photos which were amazing. His photos were extremely detailed and clear which was what we wanted because it brought out the rustic fall colors we loved had at our wedding. Roy was super fun to have around and captured such natural reactions that I couldn't help but go back and look at them over and over again.

Roy is professional, approachable, and personable. He responded to us in a timely manner. His photography and photo-editing skills are phenomenal. We asked Roy to do our engagement photo shoot, and we are very happy with the results! He captured different angles, gave us helpful hints on poses, and most importantly, highlighted our story through his pictures. The edited photos were enhanced in a natural tone, not too dramatic. Roy was very professional yet friendly and approachable. He was very responsive through email and text. He was fun to work with and best of all he was up for any adventure we threw at him for our elopment. We had a scare with weather and Roy was very understanding. He let us know to not worry.
