Working with Roy was a delight. We had reached out very early to secure our date and were so happy with the entire process. He met with us virtually and was able to reassure us of any questions we had. He also gave us time to review the contract and was very professional about the process. More importantly on the day of our wedding he was so patient with us and our families. He took absolutely stunning photos (of course) and were as magical as I had dreamed. Although it ended up raining, which we had not planned, my favorite photos were from being out in the rain - and yes! He got out in the rain and got wet to take our beautiful photos. What was the best thing for us was that he helped us get over our awkwardness. It felt more like a friend was there to take pictures of the day and made us feel very comfortable (both my husband and I are camera shy). After the wedding, the pictures came really quick and were of course stunning. If you fall in love with Roy's work like I did, you will not be disappointed. -

Roy played the most crucial role in capturing what happened at our wedding with his professional snapshots. Nobody could see the beautiful, elegant and colourful results on the papers without him.
He has a unique eye for the details and brings our wedding ceremony and the cocktail reception to life. He is intuitive enough to know how to communicate with everyone to get the best photography results.
In terms of private communication before and after booking Roy’s services, he was always very responsive and approachable. His lovely personality and talent are the key components attracting us to book him. On top of that, his language skills in Cantonese and Mandarin are definitely a plus, as my side of the family requires more communication in the Asian language.
Overall, we’d love to hire him again for our future events. It’s absolutely a pleasant experience working with Roy.

Couldn't be happier
I came across Roy on this site and was instantly drawn in by his beautiful photography style. He was fast to respond to my inquiry and we soon set up an online meeting so my fiance and I could go over what we were looking for. Through the whole process Roy has been fast and flexible and even able to accommodate a date change. We had an engagement session to get some practice in and meet Roy face to face. He did a great job making it fun and helping us to get through the awkward parts of posing for pictures. When it came to our wedding I am just so happy with the pictures we received. Roy and his assistant did the most wonderful job of capturing so many moments and things that I didn't get to see during the day. His style and colours are beautiful and exactly what we wanted. My wife and I keep going through the photos and are both so happy with everything. Thank you Roy! -

Roy was such a great photographer! My husband is not a fan of taking pictures and I can't say I'm a natural either but Roy was super helpful in making us feel comfortable. He was really motivated in finding the best locations with the perfect lighting and really thoughtful with where we went (especially 'cause I had heels). On our wedding day, there was a storm but he braved through the rain and wind to take such clear photos which were amazing. His photos were extremely detailed and clear which was what we wanted because it brought out the rustic fall colors we loved had at our wedding. Roy was super fun to have around and captured such natural reactions that I couldn't help but go back and look at them over and over again. -

Photography review
Roy was very accommodating as we had to change our dates for our wedding due to Covid. From our engagement photos to the wedding day, Roy has an eye for certain details and tries to get the perfect shot. He was responsive to emails and communicated with us well. He was fantastic on the day of the wedding and made the day memorable for us. The pictures were delivered and edited in a timely manner which we really appreciated. He provided some preview photos a week after the wedding which was a nice touch. We’re so glad we had Roy as our photographer! -
