We got married on July 27th, and are beyond thrilled with our decision to hire Kate as our photographer. From our very first encounters, Kate showed a warmth, sincerity and thoughtfulness that is truly heart-warming and unparalleled. We knew right away that we were in good hands, and she remained bubbly and positive throughout the entire process. Neither of us particularly enjoy being the centre of attention, and we tend to be quite camera shy, but Kate made us so comfortable during the day of our wedding. She took beautiful candids of us and of our families, and even sent us a few sample shots as a preview the day following our wedding. Her attention to detail and ability to capture special moments is remarkable, and we cannot thank her enough for the beautiful memories she has given us. Our families and friends also commented on her professionalism, positive energy, and ability to work quickly and effectively. Kate is incredible! She photographed our wedding this past June and we could not be more happy with our experience and photos. My husband and I got married in July 2018 at the Sofitel. When we mentioned that we were looking for a photographer to the even director, she spoke very highly of Kate Fellerath.
A few days later, I spoke with Kate on the phone, and although we had never met yet, in those few minutes I felt her warmth, her care for her work and her clients. It felt like I was talking with an old friend, which made me feel quite at ease.

Prior to our wedding, Kate was great at preparing us for the shots that we wanted: first look, family pictures, locations for bridal party pics, etc. She brainstormed with us, and it almost felt like she was as excited as we were about our special day.

On our wedding day, working with her felt so natural; Kate and her assistant were everywhere, yet never “in the way”. We could tell (and appreciated!) how organized she was because everything went by so quickly, and she orchestrated the shots so seamlessly - especially those post-ceremony family pictures! My husband and I have a big extended family and how she managed to get all those shots in within 30 minutes, is a testament to her level of organization and experience. She’s allowed us to enjoy the last half-hour of the cocktail and mingle with our family and friends for a bit.

The day after, as promised, Kate sent us a few edited pictures, and we got all of our pictures less than two weeks later. Looking back at them, we felt the warmth, lightness and the happiness of that day. She was able to capture the silliness that went on in those moments in-between, and the joy in all the moments that we couldn’t take part of as they happened.

Overall, my husband and I felt very comfortable working with her, and recommend her for not only her experience, professionalism, and organization, but because she is very personable, and passionate about what she does. From the moment we contacted her and all throughout the process of our wedding, the experience was amazing!

Kate helped our entire wedding day and night run smoothly, by providing direction but also provided the entire group with so much ease when taking photos. Kate was able to capture many great, natural moments, and at the same time understood there were certain photos we would also want at the end of the day.

The photos turned out so amazing - beyond our expectations! We feel like we now have a beautiful and clear sense of the entire day and night. Kate was extremely patient, professional, and fun to work with. We never felt overwhelmed by the photo-taking.
Her aide was also great, and it definitely helped to have two photographers.

Kate also knows Montreal very well, and is perfectly bilingual - this was a huge plus!
